Skyplex Orlando Discussion Thread

History would show that the first version of every new concept will have some good moments and some ho-hum moments. I suppose this will be that way also, but I love the concept and can see all the crazy things that could come from this. How about 2 inter-twined coasters, one mild, one wild. How about adding a drop ride within the structure or attaching zip lines to it it. One of the driving forces that created this idea was to put in a rollercoaster with a footprint the size of a merry-go-round or flat ride. But what it you took the footprint of a galaxy coaster and built two 300 ft. towers that were 30 to 60 ft. apart or more; with loops and barrel rolls between the towers. Possibilities are endless, maybe three towers in a triangle if there is extra ground space. Or enclose some of the sections with other sections of the tower open. I really love this concept once I let my imagination take off. -
Cedar Point (CP) Discussion Thread

I think it should be called "Seagull" with it's location over the beach and parking areas. Each seat would be equipped with its own push button that would release a small globule of whipped cream, so that riders could 'welcome guests as they were entering or leaving the park and give them a true CP experience. (Just remember not to push your button while doing the inversions!) -
Dang Stupid computer...missed the last ducky contest with a crashed hard drive and by the time I got it fixed the guessing had closed. Didn't feel too bad about it since I found fifteen duckies and the majority seemed to be going with sixteen. Now I see the posted finds and of course I would have been right! Isn't that the way it always goes......... Bring on the next round!!!

Muscle Park in Tokyo Closing

I think that a facility that had this concept for an indoor attraction and an outdoor facility that has an obstacle course similar to "Wipeout" would be worth a thousand laughs and a thousands sore muscles. But I would be one of the first in line. -
Thanks for the update. It's been many, many years since I rode it and remember it it being a very fun coaster. Running through the trees was nice, running through the trees at night even better, running through the trees at night with the headlights on was WAY-COOL! Only time I ever experienced that in my coaster riding travels. Maybe that can get restored in the future also.
