Haha i operate the Technic coaster ( Picture above) and people all the time ask me how does it stay on the track with those wheels, I just reply back saying "Each car has 24 wheels, it's not going to fall off".

Here is a small update on the HERO factory and miniland. The hero factory seemed to be done as i was inside building Hero's. The area were Star Wars is being added is now fenced off. These photos were taken on January 14th Well it seems as if the new HERO Factory is finished. Decal running along the inside wall. The whole room, which is fairly small. Cut outs Hero alter? w00t i figured out how to build a Hero after 15 minutes. The area for Star Wars is now fenced off. No visible progress as of yet. This photo was taken on Jan 14. Epicness

Sounds like a great event and i am hoping to make it out! I was just wondering though how fast did the KBF event sell out last year? Thats the one i want to register for but i will need to wait till Jan 28th before i can pay for it. Do guys think it will sell out by then?

Know one seems to know about Bionicle Blasters re-theme, I mean i operate the damn ride and cant get a damn answer from anyone. I know the Bionicle Evolotuion room is being transfered into the new HERO factory. My guess with Daytona is that its just going to Florida.

After seeing the park today i noticed that the whole Daytona 500 is no longer there. Its kind of a bummer as that was my favorite part of miniland. Im guessing that all the models will br brought to LLF. Ill get some pics tomorrow for you guys.

I am also very happy of the news. Although there are not any "New" attractions they should be a cool addition to the park. The current Fire academy building was nearly rotten from the inside and smelled like a sewer if you walked into it. When you shoot the water at the fire and not into the hole its supposed to go into, it just drops into the structure and it all adds up. Also another reason for the remodel were the amount of injuries that were happening on the rides abrupt stops. I was told the Bionicle Blaster was also supposed to receive a remodel into the new HERO factory sets when the ride goes DFAM but i guess not. I will also be ontop of getting pictures of progress for you guys.

Hey guys sorry if this is the wrong topic but I am planning a trip to sfmm on jan 23 and I want to buy a nice camera under 200 dollars that can shoot HD video. I'm planning to take lots of pictures along with certain roller coaster POVs and not to sure on what camera to get. So far I am looking at either getting the s6000 or the canon sd1400. What do you Guys use or recommend?

Boo to your gender stereotyping ways!!! KT will ask to stay in the Dinosaur room for sure! Having just gone to Legoland California today Robb and I were talking quite a bit about Legoland Florida. We dont' really expect the park to live up to California's park right away, but we feel confident that the clientel and employees will be better from the start. I like how alot of the members enjoy LegoLand california on this board. It really is a cool place if you have a younger child and the new water park adds a whole bunch of extra fun, Although the lazy river is only 2feet deep. I have been a ride Op. there for a year and the other employees are either going to be nice or just rude. I cant stand when i have to work with the people that make no interactions with the guests and dont give them the time of day. BTW did you guys to the water park? and if so how was it, i have not had the time to check it out yet.

I OP this ride in California and from what i heard there plans are to move it to LegoLand Florida and return all of the cars back to its original state. Those in closed cars pretty much tore that ride to threads because the ride and the blocks were not made for all of that extra weight. Lets hope they can get it back up and running smooth like the one in california. The picture of were the jungle coaster ounce stood look so sad with the loan car
