Six Flags Magic Mountain released a statement at 8:38 p.m.: "Earlier this evening, a tree branch fell on the track of the roller coaster, Ninja, obstructing the train. Park medical staff and local paramedics were immediately called to the scene. Im guessing a tree shifted, otherwise wouldn't this have happened when it first opened (in the morning)? SInce all cycles before this had no issues?

To be fair we don't actually know that they won't tear it down. Most people assume it will be an RMC conversion, but although I'd love that they haven't actually said it. This is SFMM, they may tear Colossus down and put absolutely nothing in its place, you never know. Or perhaps a new attraction in Colossus' place will prompt them to finally paint that faded skittle looking pile of rusting purple steel. I thought at one of the WCB in the past few years they were asked about this and kind of gave it away by the way they responded?

I highly highly doubt that they remove the ride. Alright, well I gave you my two cents about it, so lets discuss it. Why do you think that? Because if I remember correctly SFMM hinted at this at one if the WCB
