Revolution Ride Statement Six Flags Magic Mountain Revolution Ride Statement Updated 6/15/15 We were deeply saddened to learn that Jasmine Martinez, who was transported to the hospital after riding Revolution on June 12 has died. Our thoughts and prayers are with Jasmine’s family and friends during this difficult time. Jasmine came into the ride station unconscious and was treated at the scene and airlifted immediately to an area hospital. Over 45 million guests have safely ridden Revolution since it opened in 1976. There is no evidence to suggest that this was in any way ride related. We do not know if there was a pre-existing condition. On the day of the incident, the State determined it was unrelated to the operation of the ride and it was re-opened. With the latest development, following state guidelines, the ride has been temporarily closed pending a review. Given it was reported here that the ride was open this weekend I would assume SFMM was given the all clear (that it was not related to the ride) otherwise it would be closed. Right?
