  1. Its been a good 20 years since I have been to Magic Mountain, But I will give you my top 5 list of the coasters from the park when I was visiting the park on a regular basis considering that I lived out in the Pasadena, California area while I was growing up. 1. Ninja 2. Gold Rusher 3. Viper 4. Revolution 5. Colossus
  2. My wife and I left the park at 10:00 and we didn't get out of the parking lot till 11:15 at night. From the time we got to the car around 10:10. It took us an hour just to get out of the parking lot. As for the water park, We got there around 11:30 and we just walked in. From what I heard, There was about 9,000 people at the water park itself.
  3. On Thursday, July 4th, 2013. My wife and I decided to make our yearly trip to Six Flags New England as we get free tickets to SFNE courtesy of the My Coke Rewards program. We were expecting big crowds, But to our surprise. The crowds weren't as big as we thought they would be. The longest line we had to wait in was 30 minutes and that was for The Blizzard River ride. We got to the park around 11:30 in the morning and our first stop was Hurricane Harbor and we were there till about 4:30 in the afternoon. That is when we went to the regular park to spend the rest of the day. Here are the following rides that we went on in the regular park with their wait times. Blizzard River - 30 minutes Catwoman's Whip - 5 minutes Cyclone - 15 minutes Gotham City Gauntlet Escape From Arkham Asylum - walk on New England Skyway - 10 minutes Stampede Bumper Cars - 10 minutes Thunderbolt - 20 minutes The reason why my wife and I don't go on any of the others coasters is, Because she has a neck problem and I have a back problem and that is why we don't go on any of the big coasters. Anyways, We stayed at the park till 10:00 to watch the firework show at 9:30. Here are 24 shots from my trip that I would like share with this forum. Please note that the firework shots aren't that great as it was the first time using my new camera at night. Enjoy the shots..... Eaglefan9727
  4. My wife and I are planning to go on July 4th this year and I was wondering if anyone knew how the crowds were (Big or small crowds for that day)
  5. The former "Superman" coaster at Six Flags New England. Since my back injury about 8 years, I can go on limited coasters these days every time I go to a park, So my guess is that Superman will be the tallest in my lifetiime.
  6. In my opinion, It was better as Superman. These days, I cant ride that many big coasters. The reason why is that I injured my back in 2004, So I have to be very careful in what coasters I ride on. I hate it.
  7. Viper at Six Flags Magic Mountain. The wait was over 2 hours and it was the first week of it being opened. And to this day, Viper is still one of my favorite rides of all time.
  8. On Saturday June 30th, 2012. My wife and I decided to make the 80 mile trip to Six Flags Of New England in Agawam, Massachusetts. This was my first trip to this park since 1998 while my wife has never been to this park. The weather was hot as it was about 95 degrees and very humid. We got to the park around 1:00 and spent about 7 hours at the park before we decided to head on home. The lines for the rides werent that long at all. The longest line was 30 minutes and that was for Blizzard River. Here is a list of the rides that we decided to go on during our visit and they include: Blizzard River, Catwoman's Whip, Crime Wave, Cyclone, Gotham City Gaunlet Escape, New England Skyway, Route 66, Stampede Bumper Cars, and Thunderbolt. We also went to one show called Soar. Overall, It was a fun day and the tickets were free courtesy of the My Coke Rewards program. The only downside of the day was that there was not enough trams running from the parking lot to the front gate. Anyways, Here are some of my favorite shots from the day. Enjoy. Eaglefan9727
  9. It is the state fair for Massachusetts. http://www.thebige.com/
  10. Hello Fellow Forum Members, On Saturday, September 26th, 2009, My wife and I went to the Massachusetts state fair which is something we do every year. This was our 4th year going to the state fairin Springfield, Massachusetts and we have fun every year that we go to it. Anyways, Here are some shots that I took at the 2009 edition of the Massachusetts state fair. As always, The first stop that my wife and I make at the fair is the petting zoo. Then it was time to move to the sea lion show. This was the second year in a row that they had the sea lions. After the sea lion show, We walked around and spotted where they had the indian motocycles and here a shot of the bikes Then, We headed toward the midway at this point and here are some shots that I took at the midway. Then, It was time for us to ride the ferris wheel and while we were on the ride. I took some shots. After the ride on the ferris wheel, We went over to the mid afternoon concert which featured Terry Sylvester from The Hollies. After the concert, We decided to check out James Bond exhibit which featured the car that did the famous spiral stunt car from the iconic movie "Man With The Golden Gun," starring Roger Moore. After that, We stumble across where they were going to set up the clydestales for the daily parade. After a few minutes, We decided to walk around and spotted this nascar. Then, We had dinner at right after dinner. We saw the clydestales on the march making their way up to the start of the parade route. Twenty minutes later, The parade was under way. After the parade, It was time to get line for the night time concert which featured Little Big Town and while in line. I took a couple shots. And then we finished up the night with Little Big Town. The shot didnt come out that great, But next year. My night time shots should come out better as I will be getting a new camera for Xmas this year. Hope you enjoyed the pictures and thanks for looking. Eaglefan9727
  11. Hello Everyone, I just came across this forum by accident and I joined up as I am a 37 year old male which I am married and also a amusement park junkie. I enjoy going to them, But these days. I might get to one or two a year at the most as my wife and I live in the Massachusetts area. Anyways in May, I made a solo trip to Los Angeles which is where I grew up as a child so I could visit my mom for mothers day. While I was out there on vacation, My mom and I made a day trip to Disneyland and California Adventure Park the day after mothers day and here are some shots that I took while I was at Disneyland/California Adventure Resort. The first 8 shots were taken at California Adventure Park..... The next 4 shots were taken at Disneyland..... Also, I forgot to mention that we stop at Knott's Berry Farm on the way down for their breakfast and while we were there for breakfast. Here are 3 shots that I took outside of the park. Hope you enjoyed the shots that I posted. Have a nice weekend all.
