  1. ^100% AGREE^ I Feel the exact same way.
  2. You're hilarious. Anyways, the expo center should just let this die and forget about the park. And if they do want to keep the park, they should STFU about SF and find a new buyer. By the way, I never cared for SFKK;it was dirty, and the staff was always rude. There are other parks to go to, but I guess they never realized that and gave up on pleasing guests. If they let it go their will be no more Kentucky Kingdom. Kentucky Kingdom use to be fun and not dirty until Six Flags took over. Every park isn't clean anyways, they all are about the same. I still don't get Six Flags, When I worked their in 2008, they told everyone that the park was going to reopen Twisted Twins in 2009 and Mile High Falls too. The park was also going to have a Thomas Town Tank engine attraction in the North West Territory of the park that year, but 2009 came and nothing was there! Then in the middle of the summer of last year twisted twins trains were sent off to SFSL! What the freak is Six Flags problem? It seems they thought this all out last year! They never gave this park a chance!
  3. Well if that's what you all believe than let it all be.
  4. It just like a child being taking away for the parent and the parent still want to take care of the child. In this case Ed was the Parent and The Kingdom (everyone in louisville call it that, hopfully its the parks new name or KK lol) is the Child
  5. scroll down to the year 2000, he even added rides when his company didn't own the park in the year 1998, 1999, and 2000.
  6. It right here. It cuts off at year 2005. Just get a good look, Every year when the park was under Ed Hart managment and under his 10 year agreement the park got or reived something major and new, but since Six Flags took over that all changed. http://timelines.home.insightbb.com/sfkk_years.htm
  7. Ed Hart added all the rides from 1990-2000.
  8. Ed Hart Invested From 1990-2000 When SIx Flags Took out a Ride They replaced it. Like Tonado Replaced the quake and Deluge replace Choas and The Great Race. Most rides were never replaced such as thriller bees, tea cups, and many more. Also mainly every flat ride in the park that was added was by Hart. Six Flags only added 2 flats which were small kiddie rides.
  9. Greezed Lighting is the only ride and USED ride from another park! that Six Flags has added. Road Runner was added by Ed Hart (Kentucky Kingdom original owner) after a 10 year investment plan from 1990-2000. Road Runner also took the place of the former coaster Vampire which Six Flags took out in 1999. I believe that Six Flags don't have any rights to any rides but T2, Blizzard River, and also Mile High Falls, because those are the only rides that are fully on their property. Remember that every ride that Six Flags had added replaced a original Kentucky Kingdom ride, besides Greezed Lighting. The park also had dozens of rides when the park went under the Six Flags name, but the ride count had went down year by year in the past decade and most rides wasn't replaced that Six Flags has took out.
  10. Twisted Twins was supposed to open back up in the 2009 season with 100% new wood and tracking. The northwest territory was supposed to open up with a new Thomas town, this info came form a couple of KK ride supervisors who where giving this info at a ride supervisor meeting in 2008.
  11. It has once been a large scale corporate amusement park and it can be that once again. If it wasn't for Six Flags taking over and not taking care of this park like any other park such as Great America, Georgia, Magic Mountain, this park would have made it as being a Six Flags park. Almost every year since the park went over to the Six Flags name, we had been losing attractions while places like Holiday World and Kings Island have been gaining attractions. We havent seen a decent fresh coaster since ed hart added Twisted Twins. Greezed Lighting is o.k., but it isnt really... Major like the Voyage, Diamondback and etc. The birdge make this park sort of unique, no other park is like.
  12. It really does! If it wasn't for the lack of new rides and attractions from Six Flags, this park would be very different and in better shape!
  13. The way it looks, Six Flags will not get flat rides what so ever because none of the ride are on Six Flags property. Kentucky Kingdom was the park the needed new rides the most! I hadn't seen any rides since Six Flags took over, and that had been over 12 years! Six Flags can get one Coaster which is T2. (The worst head banging coaster in the world) I don't believe six Flags will relocate Blizzard river (raft ride) or Twisted Twins and Mile High Falls. Those rides would get scrap if Six Flags try to say those rides are theirs.
  14. They never said that. They took the ride out and put a fence up that said closed for your future enjoyment or whatever that sign said. then the other side closed that had TT and MHF. Why would TT need a major rehab if it was built in 1997? the ride would be fine if it had stayed open or they at least took care of it in these 2 years its been closed. Codys pictures obviously show that they've let it just sit there. Wouldn't it make more sense to start a major rehab the year it closed or at least keep it in good shape until they were going to rehab it? Now if they even are going to rehab the ride they will have more to do on it since the condition its in. Look... my sister use to work at the park in the 2006-2008 season. At the rehire party I had attend in 2007. The ex-president of the park said that they were getting rid of that dragster ride and was going to put something in that rides place in 2008 that will attract many vistiors back in that section because that place was always not that populated since they took out the thriller bees ride, the tea cups and other in 2001, but since the accident happen in 2007 nothing has happen.
  15. You do have alot of faults. TT may really just be in rehab and they could just be getting new trains and TLC. No body really don't know um...EnglndPatriots6? Back in 2007 the park said they was going to put something good in the old dragster area so they can repopulate that area Before the accident. The only thing that I can confirm gone is that old dragster ride is long gone.
  16. I didn't say the park wouldn't have enough room if they torn this coaster down, Ive said that there's no point to taking this coaster out and put in a THBS when the park already has enough room for one in that are
  17. I still don't believe a THBS is replacing this coaster tt. Doesn't sfkk have enough room back there for one anyways TONY.bmp
  18. I do believe SFKK will get a couple or better yet many new rides for 2010. If you think about it, Six Flags hasn't added flat rides or thrill rides in the park since they have took over Kentucky kingdom. The only flat rides the park had added is Twenty Sylvester pounce and bounce and also the speedway kids ride.
