NoLimits Track - Novacaine
Jimmy Yoshi replied to Jimmy Yoshi's topic in Roller Coaster Games, Models, and Other Randomness
There was one spot with -.8 or -.9 or something, but I'd still consider that ejector. The lack of floater is one of the reasons I really don't consider this one of my best coasters. -
NoLimits Track - The Holiday
Jimmy Yoshi replied to Jimmy Yoshi's topic in Roller Coaster Games, Models, and Other Randomness
I've been using NL since I think April-May 2005, so a fair bit more than a year. Thanks for all the nice comments guys. I've heard that Boss pulls 2 lats, so that is what I based those off of. I've also heard that Villan has some good ones too. -
Hello there! Welcome to The Holiday download page! OK, now about the ride. It's a large sorta-CCI style ride, with lots o' air time, laterals, and other fun stuff. I made the track awhile ago (back in Feburary) and I've been waiting to get some supports done. While I've been waiting, I have made other rides, and the person to support and I completely forgot about this track. I saw that I haven't upload a real ride in a while, so this morning out of impulse, I decided to upload this. It doesn't have any extras except a terrain texture, so it's pretty much pure NL. You may notice some wiggles coming off of a couple turnarounds, those were not intended, but I feel the give the ride a more realistic, not quite new feeling. Plus how would the screenshot be black and white if it was new . Don't even say anything about the supports, I honestly don't care at all. The ride is fantasy because they suck so bad. Use your judgement on tunnel and tree hits. Not much else to say, enjoy your ride. ***NOTE : Uses the Trackpackager (.nlpack) The_Holiday.nlpack .nlpack format

If you don't, count your head good as gone. -In trackpackage format (.nlpack) Enjoy your ride, Jimmy Yoshi TPR Note - This is by far the better of the two contest tracks I'll upload. In fact, it's one of my favorite designs ever. Wyvern (Round 2).nlpack .nlpack format

An older track of mine, designed back in Feburary for the 2006 WWS NoLimits Match-Up contest. I made it past the qualifier, which this track was for, and progressed to the 3rd round, where I was eliminated. Notes: -Designed entirely by elementary, not one node placed by hand. -Enviroment, oringinally the canyonrunner one that comes with the game, I just edited it slightly. -Special thanks to: Ragan - Road Thorazine - Testing Jakizle - Testing Woodie Man - Testing dcs221 - Flange help And anyone else I might have missed. Comments are appriciated. Enjoy your ride, Jimmy Yoshi [EDIT] Be sure to ride in the track default enviroment, for proper tree size and fog levels. Novacaine.nlpack .nlpack format

Novacaine by - Unknown Coasters International Story: Recently, the government has paved a road through the middle of a mountain pass. They were concerend though, was the paving of this road required, after all, there wasn't much going on on it. To get usage of the road, the government decided to build a roller coaster. They decided to contact Unknown Coasters International for this task. What they got was a 196 ft tall (that's right, under 200 feet tall), 4651 ft long thriller of a coaster. With 10 instances of airtime, it is sure to take your mind for a ride. Notes: -Designed entirely by elementary, not one node placed by hand. I'm already expecting to get down rated for that ;P. Enjoy your ride, Jimmy Yoshi Be sure to ride in the track default enviroment, for proper tree size and fog levels. Novacaine.zip ZIP file. Track Package inside.

Xenon [NL]
Jimmy Yoshi replied to Jimmy Yoshi's topic in Roller Coaster Games, Models, and Other Randomness
I forgot to include the enviroment in the track package, so here's a link to the track I got it from. It's on WWS, so you have to be a memeber. http://www.weeweeslap.com/track_exchange/detail.asp?tid=5475 -
XENON My newest NoLimits Coaster track, a 5 inversion B&M Stand-Up. The track was started over 2 months ago, and is at last being uploaded. I'm fairly happy with this track, it is fairly smooth for an elementary track, and any errors on the track have been removed from future designs. Tech -All supports are custom. Designed by both Woodie Man and Wing-Over. -There are no tunnel test collisions, as long as you ride in the included enviroment. Special Thanks To Woodie Man - Testing, supports, ideas, and encouragement. Without him, this coaster would not exist. Wing-Over - 3ds track connecters and footers. They make the ride look more realistic. GRIM - For allowing me to use the splendid enviroment designed by Kev. -And anyone who has commented or I have forgotten. Notes -Track Packager required. -You MUST ride in the "xero.env" enviroment. If you don't something bad is bound to happen. -Some of you may complain about the transition into and out of the Zero G roll. I designed it purposely that way, take a look at Katun's Zero G. -More info can be found here, http://nldc.interfix.net/p1355 Enjoy your ride, and be sure to leave a rate. Magnum and Millennium Force
Jimmy Yoshi replied to JulieWent's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
When I've gone ('03, '04, '05), I've had a really good time on both of the rides. If you don't like rough rides, on Magnum I recommend riding in the middle of a car. That way, you aren't over anything making contact with the track so the bumps won't be transmitted as badly. As for MF, anywhere you ride is super smooth. If you can get on it twice I recommend riding in the front (you can also ride in the second seat if the line is too long, stadium seating will grant you a similar view) and in the very back of the train. Front for the views and back for pure artime bliss over the top of that drop. When I first went on MF, I was 11. Waiting in line for it got me really nervous, and I was practically crying as I boarded the train. But when the ride was over, I was in a state of pure exhilaration. The best rollercoaster I have ever been on. Also, if you think you are up to it, ride it at night, it's a lot more fun. When I first rode it, it was 11:00 PM. -
http://nldc.interfix.net/p1468 http://nldc.interfix.net/p1355 My two newest NL projects. The first is my my cool Intamin Looper Elise, and the second is my Stand-Up Xenon. My RCT3 creations can be found at WWS. I'm pretty sure you have to be a member to download them. Find them here They are pretty good and I recommend a Download. None of them need expansion packs. Comment on anything.

Usually it doesn't bother me much. But I had this one experience on Disaster Transport, where these girls 13-15 years old were screaming at the top of their lungs from the beginning to the end of the ride, right in my ear. I was wishing for the ride to end... I'm more of a Woohoo and WEEEE type of person, but if a coaster really rocks, I'll yell.

I've never had a problem with roughness or the crotch area on Mantis. I've been on it in '03, '04, and '05, but I have to say, it was best in 03 and worst in 04, and ok in 05. Just stand straight up, and keep your head against the head rest, and you should be fine. I've never had a problem with too high forces on the legs, but I am in to all kinds of sports. I actually use that coaster to keep my legs in "shape" when I visit CP. Nothing like supporting 4 times your body weight. As for wait times, I've had between 0 wait and 45 minutes. The best times are right when the park opens, and late at night. I perfer late at night, more fun, seems a bit smoother to me at least. If you want to ride, don't let other people's opinions stray you away from a coaster.
