  1. Maybe the Legend will finally turn left instead of right, all while halting the assassination of the Malaysian Prime Minister.
  2. ^loling so hard at two people tightening the bolt in the "rain" As do I! I think they add so much excitement and anticipation for this ride! I seriously cannot wait to visit next year.
  3. Here's the latest Wildfire update.
  4. They've been open for every PPP I've been to (09-present).
  5. Thanks for the update Mattias! Words cannot describe how excited I am for a trip to Sweden next year!
  6. Robb or any local Swedes have any latest and greatest info on Wildfire? It's been silent since July. Any construction progress that anyone knows of?
  7. ^^I actually found the blue slide (can't remember the name) to be more fun than Deep Water Dive. The double down was exhilarating compared to just the straight drop!
  8. I am so pumped to hear this! I originally wanted to go on the Scandi trip last year, but it wouldn't have worked out with work. Then I planned for 2015, but upon Wildfire's announcement delayed it till next year! I have been thinking I might have to delay it another year which would have been quite the bummer! Although I'm sure there's a reason to go back every year for those of you that have been!
  9. Glad to see you made it back! Your advise about Mexico while I was planning my trip was extremely helpful! Also glad to see you loved Medusa. Such an awesome coaster!
  10. I'm not sure how long you guys spent at La Feria, but when I was there back in December I was very bummed at first because the only coasters operating were the wild mouse and Montana Rusa. However about an hour later the shuttle loop opened up. They began to test Montana Triple Loop and we wandered over there, but the guy told us it wasn't open. We then got out of him that it would be opening at Noon and sure enough it did! I guess I just got lucky! Also glad to see you finally got on Medusa! It's the only reason I even considered going down there last year! It seriously kicks some a$$! Out of all the RMC I rank it 3rd behind Outlaw Run and Iron Rattler. Followed by Texas Giant and Goliath!
  11. 2002 Wicked Twister (home park Geauga Lake) 2008 Ravine Flyer II Dominator (although I don't count it as a new credit moving to KD, i'll still mention it just for thread purposes) The Dark Knight (GADV) Possessed (Voodoo at the time.. see Dominator) Fahrenheit 2009 Diamondback Prowler 2010 Intimidator Intimidator 305 Skyrocket ^ Post all that earlier in this thread. To update: 2011 Roadrunner Express (SFMM) Green Lantern (SFMM) Zippin Pippin Gotham City Gauntlet Escape from Arkham Asylum (already had it at SFKK) Wooden Warrior Soarin' Eagle (Coney Island) Steeplechase (Coney Island) Black Diamond 2012 Wild Eagle Kiddie Coaster (Fun Spot USA) Leviathan X-Flight Skyrush Stinger 2013 Outlaw Run Flying Turns Pirate's Gold Rush (Playland's Castaway Cove) Iron Rattler Loco Motion (Steel Pier) 2014 Lightning Run Banshee Goliath (SFGAM) --Hoping to add Medusa Steel Coaster in December!
  12. Just an observation, and it may have been answered already, but I noticed on the pictures on page 709 that the Voyage is still running with 6 cars per train. I think I remember someone posing that question earlier this year to which Paula responded with something along the lines that they keep it at 6 cars and add the 7th as the crowd builds for the year. Well, it's August now and with that packed queue we saw on page 711 it just makes me wonder why they never put the 7th car on.
  13. Nice photos! I will be there next month and I am even more excited now!

  16. I went through and made all the changes that were posted in the 2012/2013 instructions since the 2011 excel file was still online and able to download. I attached it to this post for everyone to use if they choose! woodballot2013.xlsx
  17. Does the excel link work for anyone? It tells me the page does not exist. I seem to remember the same problem last year, which lead me to never fill out the steel ballot.
  18. Yep the China views look pretty awesome!
  19. Has anyone else tried to email Tim Baldwin to apply for next year and get a return email saying the email address does not exist?
  20. The green train is noticeably less rough compared to the other two trains. I'd recommend waiting it out for the green train. I rode it a couple weeks ago in the green train and it wasn't terrible. It didn't hurt. It's still boring as hell though. Not worth re-riding ever due to the fact that its absolutely yawnstipating.
  21. We stopped at the park to ride DB today and I noticed while riding that one of the footers is completely falling apart near the MCBR. You can see it as you're going down the drop right before you begin to curve up into the MCBR. I assume this is related to/the cause of the "routine maintenance" needed for this week!
  22. Nice to meet you this weekend Robb! Glad our rotting wooden coasters and 9 Year strong problematic roller coaster(s) were enough to keep you entertained!
  23. Interesting.. because I rode it twice in July of 2011... and needless to say this is the only ride I've ever ridden that I actually thought I might get hurt on.
  24. Just ordered my tickets for the bash today! My first TPR event & my first time back to Canada's Wonderland since 2009! w00t!
  25. As one of the 12 riders who filled out a ballot this year coupled with the fact that I'm certainly not old school I'm fairly confident in my ranking of Zippin Pippin (ZP) as a "roller coaster I like a lot." It certainly wasn't in my top 10 (I listed 11 before grouping) I do believe it currently belongs in the next group down. I don't really expect ZP to hold its position though over the course of the next couple years as the hill that the Gravity Group added is already quite violent. I could be wrong, but I do agree that while I think ZP is a fantastic reincarnation (having never ridden the original) it will move down as it gains more riders and deteriorates (hopefully they stay up to snuff on their maintenance).
