  1. I really like your park especially considering it's only your 3rd one! I'm glad you shortened your pre-drop on Patriot. The flat bit always looked a little strange to me, even on Apollo's Chariot. Any chance you could post a download whenever you feel ready? I would like to get some of those rides! Looking forward to the next update.
  2. Once again you amaze me! I especially like the look of both your restaurant and logo.
  3. Thanks. I'm staying by the I Drive/W Sand Lake Rd junction if that helps? I'd like to try and avoid the chains and go for more of the nicer places to eat as well!
  4. Ok, few things though. 1. You look like you're trying to expand your park too quickly. Ben Burnett has already commented that your park is already too spread out. Put more trees/shrubs/rocks in. Landscape more and use CS if possible. 2. Your hills and abyss look strange. It looks like you just dug a hole, painted half of it and plonked some hills next to them. My point is they don't look natural. Try and even it out more and landscape the rest of your park. Could you show us a picture from the ground rather than a birds-eye view, maybe that would make it look better? @ KPWoCkAxX - I know it's a suplex, but he said 'superplex' which is what the move is called when performed from the top rope! Regardless, my point is cool down on building rides and coasters and concentrate more on landscaping and theming. Your park will look much better then! Good luck!
  5. Hi! I'll be visiting Florida from the 20/8/08 - 3/9/08 for a family holiday, staying on International Drive and I have a few questions. 1. Can you recommend any good restaurants and anything else good to do apart from visiting parks (I already have this covered ) in the area. 2. In this time, I'll be visiting WDW, US & IOA, Sea World, Busch, Aquatica and the Kennedy Space Centre (why, I don't know?!). How heavy will the crowds be? Thanks guys!
  6. Thanks mcjaco and goliath513!
  7. @ mcjaco - can you provide a link to Amazing Earl's scenery and rides because I find that their forum is quite confusing! @ DBru - I'm sorry mate, I have no idea. I'm sorry I'm no help but I'm sure that someone on here knows. @ everyone - As I have already explained, I am new to RCT2. This may seem dumb but here goes anyway! Goliath513, you say that if I download a park with CS in it, I will have them? I don't need to install them in the same way as RCT3 or anything? Also, If I download separate scenery such as from RCTMart, what do I do with them i.e. what folder do I place them in? Sorry for the bombardment of questions!
  8. Ok, I'm new to this board but I've played RCT3 since it came out, so here goes! These comments are based on your screenshots as I haven't downloaded your park. 1. I'm glad the Giant Frisbee has gone. There was something about it that I don't think was right for your park right now. 2. The spikes of your Intamin impulse coaster seem too big in comparison to the size of the ride (I would be interested in knowing what your launch speed is and also the ride stats). 3. Concentrate more on park atmosphere and scenery rather than planting rides where there is a space, unless your inspiration is a CF park! I'd recommend looking at Shyguy's parks over at the atari forum's and there's also a few talented park designers here such as coasterdude5 and kraken613 (there are more but they've slipped my mind right now!). 4. Make your paths wider i.e. 2 or 3 tiles across. 5. You can find CS at this thread - http://www.themeparkreview.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=24276 I don't know if the links provided are dead though. 6. I like the look of your spinning coaster - a nice, simple design for a small park. 7. Your park has potential. It can only get better through practice and trial and error...keep at it! Basically, I think that If you follow some of my suggestions and keep perfecting your park, it could turn into a good park. BTW, superplex? Am I right in guessing that you're a wrestling fan?
  9. Thanks mcjaco. What a great site, there's quite a bit of useful stuff on it! One question though, I have yet to find 'proper' ride supports, would these be found at RCTMart also?
  10. Hi people! My name's Jonathan or Joffs to my mates, 20, and I'm from Wales, UK. Seems like I'm following the trend and I'm also a 'long time reader, first time poster!' My home park is Oakwood, home to the brilliant Speed: No Limits and Megafobia, and I love rollercoasters and rides in general. I'm going to Orlando in 3 weeks time so hopefully I will be able to post a PTR! I enjoy football, rugby, swimming, video games and drinking. I'm currently studying for a degree in Geography at Aberystwyth and I'm also a fluent Welsh speaker. I think that's about it so yeah, that's me!
  11. Here we go, first post! Anyway, I have just recently purchased RCT2 Deluxe Edition and I was wondering what CS are recommended and/or essential for a great park. A link or a hint in the right direction would be helpful. Thanks guys!
