If anyone is planning on going to the park this weekend, X2 will not be open. Something happened during midweek testing, and they are waiting for a replacement part. It will not be open at all this weekend. This has really destroyed my weekend. I came all the way from Chicago, just to ride X2. It's my favorite coaster. I know the risks of planning something like this, but I'm still can't believe my luck. X2 was down for a large part of West Coast Bash last year, due to high winds. I think it was the only coaster that was down at night. That was the last time I was here. I just have no luck with this coaster.

I rode X at SFMM 28 times in one day, and 42 times that weekend. It was the very last weekend of X, before the upgrade to X2. X had three small breakdowns that day, or I would have had a few more rides. It was my first time at SFMM. I only managed 7 rides at West Coast Bash this year. X2 was down due to high winds for about half the day. I hope to be back for the next West Coast Bash. With a little luck, maybe I can get more then 28 rides on X2.

X was amazing this weekend. The park was really slow both days. I rode X 13 times on Saturday, and 28 times on Sunday. The lines we're so short on Sunday, that they almost removed the second train on X. It was my first time at Six Flags Magic Mountain, and I'll bet I never find lines this short again. X was very smooth on some rides, and pretty rough on others. I think the new trains should fix that. I can't wait to come back and ride it again.
