^^ Yeah it doesn't mean they will close, they could stay open. But honestly do you believe that? Yeah it's sad to see my park close, I've been going there since early 80's. I truly believe the park has run it's last days, adding a BMX stunt show? A magic show? Like that's anything to be proud of? Canada's wonderland got Behemoth, KI is getting Diamondback, KD Got Dominator , Carowinds might get a hyper. CGA? A stunt show? CGA's time has come as sad as it is, I hate to see them go myself but we all kind of knew this was coming. Now we just have to wait and see what happens.

Maybe B&M wanted to get rid of excess weight from the lift hill? -

Imo.. CGA needs a Gimmick to keep the park alive. CF came through with that woodie but I think it was to get an upper hand with the whole 49ers stadium speal. If the 49ers and Raiders make a deal and build a joint stadium together, that would leave a lot of room for CF to do SOMETHING with the park.

ENI is reporting that Universal Studios Parks & Resorts has joined with Hasbro, Inc. and Dreamworks to develop a Transformers attraction based off the movies. It seems that Universal Studios Singapore will get the attraction first in 2010, followed by LA in 2011. "The attraction will fuse 3D-HD media, mega special effects and stunning robotics with a ride system that will transform perceptions of theme park experiences. The rides are scheduled to make their debuts in early 2011, first at Universal Studios Singapore and then at Universal Studios Hollywood. In "Transformers," Earth's hum

8tons? 8,000lbs = 4tons and about 4.2tons is about right nothing wrong with the track weight. -
Hello TPR! My name is Bryan, I live in the San Francisco bay area. I'm 26yrs old I work as a crane operator for a local company. I've been in love with coasters since i can remember. I've had my hand in assembling and disassembling coasters. Not the highlight of my career. My dream is to be able to go on one of TPR's awesome trips. Hope to meet some great people here!!

Few? under estimate, there are close to hundreds of cranes capable of reaching OVER 300ft. TTD was assembled with 2 300ton capacity cranes over 430ft. A 300ton crane can only pick off the side with shortest boom possible. With every foot you go up, you lose capacity in what you can pick. That's why you can only pick 3-5tons 250ft up, where was 315+ ft up you can only pick 2-3 tons if that. It WILL be 240 to 250 ft tall. -

Atleast 315ft tall? for a 230ft tall coaster? Doubt it, maybe 250-260ft tall.
