  1. Isn't the inversion that goes back towards the station and over the front gate area considered an inline twist? The track does go up and down slightly over the gate area but I still think that the train is rotating in a relatively straight line through this part of the ride. It looks like the inversion will provide some near-misses around the keyhole elements as well.
  2. I really like the shout out you've given to the MSI Chicago. I am a passholder for the MSI (as well as Cedar Fair) for all of the reasons you mentioned: the museum simply has a little bit of everything under its expansive roof. I highly recommend anyone visiting Chicago for tourist purposes to take a trek down to the South side of Chicago to visit this great museum (largest in the Western Hemisphere) for its exhibits and simply the building itself (built in 1898 to impress visitors from around the world for the World's Fair). Good TR, and I'm excited for your first time experience opinions about Cedar Point, which I consider my home park despite being only an hour away from MiAdv.
  3. I'm pretty sure that the gate price to CP has never been in the $60 area. At most, it's probably come close to $50 but not much more than that (although that's somewhat related to CP reducing their prices in the mid 2000's.)
  4. MF at CP is relatively hidden from view while walking along the Frontier Trail due to the tall trees that were left behind during construction. For being such a big and imposing ride, it really was hidden fairly well and doesn't really interrupt the 'mood' of that area of the park at all.
  5. I went to SFKK before I had to catch my plane back to Detroit last fall in 2007 (after a trip to Holiday World of course) and I thought it was O.K. It had some nice decor and landscaping in the front of the park, the original part of the park with the Superman ride. The nasty bridge across the access road and the back half of the park was not overly impressive though unless the theme idea was supposed to be very industrial. I don't know if I'd go back again but it wouldn't be because of looks, but rather the lack of fun stuff to ride other than Greezed Lightning, Chang, and Deluge. I wouldn't sell the park at all though if I was Six Flags with it being so close to the airport, the University of Louisville, Churchill Downs, Freedom Hall, and the Kentucky State Fairgrounds. Too many opportunities for impulse visits I would think.
