  1. All this good news is overwhelming!! I'm very excited for this coaster to open.. As for the rings.. "If you like, then you should've put a ring on it, Oh oh ooh!"
  2. As far as near-misses I can see three in the beginning, but after that, it seems to be a mess of track. But it does seem awesome!!
  3. UPDATE!! From May 11th www.thethemeparkguy.com/park/universal-studios-singapore/ Things are comin together. Oh yeah, that vekoma track is looking sexy EDIT: I just saw one of the pictures and it had a red support in it, what could that be?
  4. It kind of reminds me of Mavericks trains, but I know that'll change as soon as we get a real good picture of it.
  5. Only time will tell. But I can't wait to see this park finished!
  6. Yeah I noticed that too. Did anyone notice that the duration of this ROTM is 1:57 and the Orlando version is 2:57 and they're both 2200' in length. Do you think it's just a typo??
  7. ^Cause Wikipedia is the most reliable source! lol.. But I really want to follow the construction of this park. Every update is like once a month. I thought that the Incredible Hulk Coaster was going to be rethemed??
  8. I'm pretty sure there isn't another topic like this, but any who, What color(s) do you think look best on what type of coaster? For me I'd have to say: B&M: Blue Intamin: Red (Or some shade of orange) Vekoma: Green ect. Your opinions?
  9. That was, by far, the craziest sound I've EVER heard come from a wooden coaster. :EDIT: As far as the look of the trains go, can't really judge that seeing that it's not the final design. IMO I don't think that any coaster train can compete with Millennium Flyers or Intamin trains.
  10. I always wondered what their coasters would be like if they were still building them. Well me being in the B&M state, Im gonna have to go with B&M!
  11. Yeah, I don't know what Florida he went to but everyone's entitled to their own opinion. A heartline lift is probably one of the coolest things I've ever heard of. Even though this smashes my dreams of riding it during Grad Bash, oh well.
  12. "Freestyle Music Park"??? Oh so it's getting rethemed to rap??? Cool...... not!
  13. Please forgive me but, I've read the last few pages and I'm a little confused about this "heartline" lift. If it's a joke forgive me for being so stupid. I just feel really lost.
  14. Im so glad this is my home park cause I usually don't travel out of state for coasters. I think it's a good addition to USO, yeah it is different from the norm but changing it up is good sometimes. I'd say the only bad part about the ride is its name! ^Probably like once a week.
  15. As soon as you said a state FULL of B&M's I knew you were talking about FL. I'm in the same boat as you are. In FL all of the big coasters are B&M, but back to the topic. I've never ridden an Intamin, but they do have an advantage over B&M, They're willing to do new types of things. Don't get me wrong B&M does too, just not to the level of Intamin. But since I love everything about B&M, the track, the trains, the sounds, ect. I'm gonna have to go with them. Ed "B&M Fanboy" Bagley Jr.
  16. Well I haven't been on an accelerator, but Dive Machines are another story. My description is pretty much like everyone else's, It (SheiKra) is intimidating even when your not close to it, it's HUGE! Going up the lift hill is somewhat a thrill in itself cause it's so steep and fast moving. As you turn the corner you pick up speed then, you sweep into the breaks, not coming to a complete stop. You creep over the edge slowly and you're perched there for aobut 4-5 seconds, then WOOSH!! you drop, and you're weightless the entire drop, then you glide through the immelman (there's some weightlessness here too), then the carosaul, which is not as intense as I anticipated, but good. Going into the block breaks you almost come to a complete stop. Unlike the first drop, the second has no holding break. So as you drop, you're somewhat thrown up into your restraint, weightless the entire time down again into the tunnel. Coming out of the tunnel you go into the wingturn, not an intense part then entering the splash pool you get a moment to catch your breath. The hill into the turn going to the station, stood out to me, you pull like 2g's so it was something cool in my eyes. After all of that you hit the breaks and it's over. You survived SheiKra!
  17. I was there that same day, it was very cloudy.
  18. It's only for Florida Residents and my mother got one a few days ago. I wanted to know if any other Florida residents on the forum got one.
  19. Witch Sheikra are you riding? I went there last saturday, the 12th. Right when the park opened, for about 1 hour it was a walk on after that it was one helluva line! Not that many people are scared of SheiKra. Hell I got four rides in that day, boy was it exciting!
