Hey everyone! I just want to say thank you again to everyone who attended last night's West Coast Bash! I never thought we would ever see attendance numbers in the 700 area and it was great that Magic Mountain handled the crowd so well that lines were non-existent throughout all our ERT. (We ended up having 6 coasters open in the morning and 13 coasters "in the dark" at night.) In case you missed it, the event made the front page of our local newspaper. West Coast Bash weather update! At the moment (6:06am) it is going from "clear, but damp" to "rainy" on and off here in Valencia. That being said here is an updated radar for today: http://www.wunderground.com/wundermap/?lat=34.41041946&lon=-118.57572174&zoom=10&pin=Valencia%2c%20CA Forecast does look "spotty" throughout the day meaning we will get some rain, but it will be scattered and the worst of it being over by the time our Magic Moments Theater presentation is done. (don't quote me though, I'm not a weather dude!) This could mean for some AMAZING night time ERT if this forecast holds true. Hope to see everyone at the park shortly! Really? This is the ONE thing about this site that really pisses me off royally. I am overweight, and have to say that this constant bashing of fat, overweight or whatever really sets me off. I do not get it! Really I don't.... Ed, you know me...don't take anything we say too personally or seriously. I don't really think anything we say should really be taken as "bashing" in the sense that we ACTUALLY mean anything behind our words. We joke around a lot about everything. There are some things that I've seen said that honestly rub me the wrong way to, and even some things I may post I may not want to be said to myself....BUT....I accept the fact that if I'm going to be allowed to make fun of everyone/anything in an open forum, I gotta take it also. Some comments may be mean "spirited" humor, trash talking, etc, but I don't think they are flat out "mean" or meant to be mean. That's one way of looking at it. --Robb

Just want to say thanks to everyone who attended the party tonight! We had a blast! Hope you guys weren't too annoyed at the not-so-fair trivia game! I'm totally wiped out and I have to get up in 5 hours and do it all over again! See you in the morning. Cross your fingers for better weather. I have been told that the park will make EVERY EFFORT possible to open as many rides as they can in rain and cold weather. There is even a crew coming in at 7am to "warm up" the X2 trains. IMO, if something isn't running that means it REALLY can't! That being said, I've found weather.com's forecasting to be pretty unreliable.
