The Jungle Coaster was in the wrong location within the park and for it to be replaced with a hotel is the perfect solution. The views from the Hotel will be great as it will overlook the lake. In the development plan which the park submitted there was a rough plan for the Jungle Coasters replacement which was scheduled to be for 2011. I have no idea if this will still go ahead as no planning applications have gone in for it as yet, but its location is between Miniland and Legocity... I can assure you that this is a proper plan and not something that I put together in Paint !!

I rode Th13teen 3 times today and must admit that its a decent family coaster. Its not a thrill coaster and this is where the problem is. Its been marketed as the "Ultimate" coaster and with words such as "most technology ever on one ride", it has a lot to live up to. Yes it has this drop section, but thats it. There are no projection screens or animatronics in the crypt at all. You have to ride it with the knowledge that its a UK version of Expedition Everest, without the height and the massive Disney budget. I rode Nemesis later on in the day and it was great to be on a thrilling coaster. Th13teen is a good ride for the park and will no doubt be a success for them. However, is it in my top ten? Nope, not a chance..

The weather is not looking promising for tomorrow, which is not good... I will however be there from a stupid hour trying to get in via the woodland walk from the hotels, if that plan doesnt work then I will be at the entrance for opening. If anyone spots someone with a Magic Mountain hoodie and a Walt Disney World umbrella, then thats me !! Come over and say hello.

I must admit that after seeing the first video I was a bit.... errm.... is that it? Yes it has been so over hyped, but then again thats Merlin Entertainments all over isnt it? The second video makes it look better and I am looking forward to riding it. I will be there on Saturday for opening day, however I will be marching over to Nemmie for the ERT before joining the queue for Th13teen. Got to get my first rides on Nemmie this season under my belt whilst everyone runs to Th13teen.
