  1. Well shoot! I was looking forward to going this year. Unfortunately, Uncle Sam calls. And I will be answering the call of duty by the time WCB takes place. Enjoy a couple of rides on Tatsu and X2 for me.
  2. Maybe they'll throw us all for a "loop" and theme it to WB characters that Christian Bale has played as. In this case, maybe they'll call it John Connor: The Ride, or Bruce Wayne: The Ride. Or they could just mix both characters together, and call it John Wayne: The Ride.
  3. Definite: Six Flags over Texas Six Flags Magic Mountain Possibly: Six Flags Fiesta Texas Six Flags over Georgia Six Flags Great America Cedar Point Holiday World Been to: Six Flags over Texas Six Flags Fiesta Texas Six Flags AstroWorld (Rest in Pieces) Six Flags Magic Mountain Six Flags Great Adventure Six Flags over Georgia Six Flags Discovery Kingdom California's Great America (was Paramount's at the time) Knotts Berry Farm Disneyland Universal Studios Hollywood Sea World of Texas
  4. I have to agree. SFoT (my home park) is a nice park, and relatively clean. I hope that in the near future, we could get an original design of a B&M floorless, B&M flying, or an Intamin wooden (El Toro kicks some posterior end).
  5. Haha, didn't think that far. ---Brent Then you could experience the first-ever inverted-pretzel loop! Woo hoo! Or would it be a double-inverted loop?
  6. I was just trying to add a little humor. Apparently I crashed and burned. I'm actually looking forward to whatever the park is planning to do for us.
  7. That's too bad! I was looking forward to riding an almost done X2. But I'm sure that whatever the surprise is, it'll definitely be worth it! Oh please let it be one of the new and fresh dirt piles!
  8. Thanks for the suggestion, Robb. I look forward to meeting everybody there.
  9. My friend told me that Sunday was going to be daylight savings time. Great! So technically, I'm gaining about an hour by leaving Dallas on Saturday. I'm staying at a hotel by LAX, but I don't know about leaving at 5am just to make it to SFMM. Maybe 6:00 or 6:30am at the earliest.
  10. Hello all, Just spent my entire life savings (not really) to fly in from Dallas to go to this grand little event called West Coast Bash. I look forward to meeting some of ya'll. I'll be the guy who's walking around, acting like he's lost.
  11. "Sorry folks! The park's closed! The moose should have told you out front!" That was my first thought about this park. But when I first looked at the entrance to the park, I was wondering why it looked a lot like a concentration camp.
  12. Allow myself to introduce...myself. My name is Robert. I recently graduated from college with a Bachelors in Management. Soon I will be going back to school to get my MBA (I'm shooting for the likes of UCLA, if they'll be so nice to accept me). One of my favorite past times is going to amusement parks. I've enjoyed doing so since I was 9. My first ride that I thoroughly enjoyed was the Shock Wave at Six Flags over Texas. Since then, I have found myself frequenting the likes of many parks. Below is a list of the parks I've been to and my favorite rides at them. Note that some rides are also at other parks, and maybe why I did not mention them twice. Six Flags over Texas - Titan, Batman, and Mr Freeze Six Flags Fiesta Texas - Superman: Krypton Coaster Six Flags AstroWorld (Defunct) - Serial Thriller (Rest in Pieces) and Dungeon Drop (now at Six Flags St Louis) Six Flags over Georgia - Superman: Ultimate Flight and Deja Vu Six Flags Magic Mountain - Tatsu, X, Riddler's Revenge, and Goliath Six Flags Discovery Kingdom (Marine World) - Medusa (Paramount's) Great America - Top Gun and Stealth (now at Carowinds) Knott's Berry Farm - The Silver Bullet and Xcellerator Disneyland - Space Mountain (the 1998 version) Universal Studios Hollywood - The Mummy's Revenge Over the years, I have visited various websites and come to know of some of the enthusiast names, though I have never actually met one...yet. I have been in the middle of some interesting topics (I still believe that Superman : The Escape is a rollercoaster! But that is another discussion for another time). I hope to again get into some other great discussions. I also just want to have fun. So enough of me being on my soapbox. I look forward to talking with some of you down the line.
