  1. I think headspin, although a pretty rough ride, would be an ok edition to the park if they decided to add it later on into the season. but if KD ends up getting it in addition to dominator(which i think should be ours[carowinds'] in the first place {tear} and that's my personal opinion} i will be really P.O-ed. . I sure do hope they can get it. although it wouldn't be an AMAZING new ride, i think it would fit in well in carowinds.
  2. I have been a dedicated Roller Coaster FANATIC for the past 4 years and (living only 1 hr. away) Carowinds is my home park. I personally think that a B&M Hyper would be the smartest move for carowinds to make in 2009. I think a good sized one could fit very well in the wooded area on the other side of the season pass holders parking lot.... If they own that lot, that is. Also, the parking lot beside thunder road would be the perfect spot for a big coaster..... maybe a B&M floorless(which would be my choice) or a launched coaster or something BIG!! Another thing Carowinds needs more of is GOOD flat rides.... whenever they get rid of the Super Saturator, they should put a maXair style ride there. That would be a great spot for that. Anyway, Carowinds, not being the BIGGEST and BADDEST park around that is, is still a very great park. The rides are good, like Afterburn(Top Gun) and NightHawk(BORG), and the cleanliness of the park out passes any other park I've ever been to. The employees treat you nicely and everything is great EXCEPT the lack of more rides. AND WHAT IS THE POINT OF BONDI BEACH..... they already have a STINKING!!! wave pool! In my opinion that was not a smart move for 2008.... they should have spent that money on a new coaster or at least jumped in and gotten something else from Geuaga Lake beside the YOYO!! I love Carowinds, but they need to pick up the pace on BIG PROJECTS because if they don't, they're gonna be left in the dust by the major parks of the country.
  3. I had so much fun saturday on opening day. For the most part it wasn't that crowded because I got to ride so many times (Top Gun-4x; BORG-1x; Vortex-3x; Carolina Cyclone-3x; Thunder Road-1x; Hurler-2x; and Drop Zone-1x;) Oh yeah, by the way, IT'S NOT CALLED "Rolling Thunder" IT'S CALLED "Thunder Road" I should know, i ride it every time i go there, and trust me that is a lot of times considering i live and hour away. AND it also has a big sign in front of the entrance that says "THUNDER ROAD"!!! Der-DA-Der Anyway, about the new hyper. Is it gonna go under the bridge in the front of the park,or somewhere else,if there is another bridge, and if so where will the station be? Do you know any facts yet?(size, height, name, colors, theme, ect.) I can't wait for it to come!!! Ever since GOLIATH at SFOG came, i was hooked to the GIANT ones. Also, i heard a rumor that "Thunder Road" and "Carolina Cyclone" were being removed. Anyone know any more cuz' that is upsetting news considering they are such good rides. Ok, well, Buh-BYE
