Aventure City : forbidden to adults without children !
EricLovesTZTOT replied to EricLovesTZTOT's topic in Ask Alvey
I had it too ! At the moment I went there to ride it, I didn't know that there was this kind of restriction, and the operator said nothing to me ! Few years later, I read on french boards that this coaster is a children-only ride ! But this restriction is rare in Europe ! I miss a credit at PKI too ! And that's sure I'll miss 1 at Knott's, and 1 at SFMM ! Hum, and few more at SFMM, actually !!! At Cedar Point, nothing is forbidden to adults ! When I went there, the operators were so kind to help a so big man like me entering in the so little car of their kiddies ! Then, I have had the full credit ! -

Elissa, you answer quicker than your shadow ! Thank you very much ! These children-only coasters suck ! We don't have this kind of restrictions in Europe ! -

As I was checking parks and roller coasters to visit in Los Angeles area, one of my friend said me that Adventure City is fordidden to adults without children ! I wrote an email to Adventure City management and they confirmed this to me ! Then, I'm looking for a friendship parkfan family with children who accept to help me entering in this park ! I'm offering 2 free admissions (1 for a children and 1 for his/her dad or mum) ! I purpose you 3 dates : - Friday 27th of April at 10 AM (park open from 10 AM to 5 PM). - Saturday 28th of April at 11 AM (park open from 11 AM to 8 PM). - Sunday 29th at 11 AM (park open from 11 AM to 7 PM). If somebody's interested, please let me know here or by email at tztot@free.fr. Link to Adventure City website : http://www.adventurecity.com/ Thank you in advance. Eric.

I love your ride Tim, I want this at Disneyland Resort Paris. -
Toon Studios including Crush's Turtle Twister and Cars are to open in april/may 2007 that's for sure. But the last news we have is that TOT could open in october/november 2007 ; all that for the 15th anniversary celebrations of Disneyland Paris. I think this information will be officially confirmed in the next Shareholder General Assembly in april/mai 2006.

Here are the maps of Crush's Turtle Twister, the future Maurer Söhne coaster which is planned to open in 2007 at Disneyland Paris in Hangarland (that's the nickname I gave to this litle, ridiculous and ugly park named Walt Disney Studios) : The map of the coaster itself. You can see the darkride part to the bottom-left and the coaster part to the top : Here is a general view of the 2 new rides in their environment, Crush's Turtle Twister and Cars (same ride then Whirpool in Tokyo Disney Sea) plan to open in 2007 too : Elissa ? Robb ? +1 to your credit ! You have to come back again in Paris

Spring 2006: my trip to SFGA, Cedar Point and Geauga Lake...
EricLovesTZTOT replied to EricLovesTZTOT's topic in Ask Alvey
First I planed to land at Cincinatti to visit PKI. But I saw that a Paris-Chicago flight is less expensive than a Paris-Cincinnati and that Chicago is not so far from Cedar Point. Then I decide to change to Chicago. After discussing with Elissa at Parc Astérix on 4th of july, I've choosen to visit Six Flags Great America (more than Indiana Beach) that she discribed me as a very good parc with really great steal coasters. Thanks for this advice Elissa. May be we'll spend a day to visit the city of Chicago too. If you have few advices for SFGA, hotels or things to visit in Chicago, you're welcome... What do you think about a 2 days visit at SFGA ? Is it to much ? Is 1 day enough to ride all the rides (the non-coaster rides too) ? -

Thanks a lot for your messages. So I think I'm going to choose mid-may to experiment Ghost-Cedar-Point -
Hi, I'm from France and plan to visit PKI, Cedar Point and Geauga Lake (+ La Ronde in Montréal) on spring 2006. I love empty parks and short lines though I look for the less crowded weeck to come in these parks on April, May or June 2006 (no school holiday, no bank holiday, no Ohio Holiday). Can you help me ? I'll be an American Coaster Enthusiasts member in few days and I would know if there are any discount in these parks ? What kind of discount ? I plan to stay 2 or 3 nights at one of the Cedar Point Hotel (may be at the Hotel Breakers), do you know a way to obtain great low season discounts ? Thank you in advance for your help...
