Yes, I feel safe. 1.5 year ago though, I had a problem with my back and while riding Coaster Express at Parque Warner, it was so painful that I started feeling my heart. I was so glad the train entered the station again. Shortly after that my back problem was cured and since then I feel completely safe again riding coasters.

Our rides were not that insane and only at some points near an edge. The rides were still pretty wild and exciting though, especially when we took shortcuts at some points going down the hill very steep.

Some years ago during a holiday in Switzerland, we took our bike by cablelift to the top of a mountain in the Wallis area. We started at a height of more than 3000 meters and went down to the valley which was at 600 meters. We did this a few times and each ride was one crazy descent from top to valley. And each descent was such an adrenaline rush. Now, I just came across the video on the following site. Our rides were far from that insane but I felt the rush again while watching this video. Anybody else who likes downhill biking ?

^^^ Great pics. I guess those are recent ones ? From the pictures, I think it will take some more weeks, months before the ride opens. I've looked back some pages but don't see anything mentioned about an announced opening date. Did Knoebels officially announce a date for the ride to open ? Hopefully it will open in the next weeks as we will visit Knoebels in 6 weeks.

I will ride it for the first time in about 5.5 weeks. It's a pity the train is braked now more than it used to be, but even then, I'm so looking forward to ride this coaster : it looks so cool with all the tunnels and woods around it. I'm very impressed in any case when watching the pov's posted here, even if it might be a bit slower nowadays.

Omg. Looking down from the top is really looks like a loop. Looking at from the ground, the loop looks a bit less impressive. Still, I will never ride something like that because it just looks too scary and painful. Just wondering, how do they get rid of the water at the lowest point before the loop ? Is the water going through the loop too because of gravity ?

Hard to predict : you can have all kinds of weather in the UK in May. I would say, the chance for good (dry) weather is better than 60 %, shower days 30 % and 10 % for really bad rain days. Temperature average must be near 20° C.
