  1. The view from Texas SkyScreamer is amazing and alone makes the experience worth it. The chains twisting, especially on a particularly windy day, is a little nerve wracking, but I personally think it's pretty cool. Skycoaster (Dive Bomber Alley), however, is another story. I've only ridden it three times about a year ago, and while it's not nearly as terrifying as the first time, it still gets my blood pumping every time I fly.
  2. If you're wondering why Six Flags chose not to cover the phones that are seated in the headsets, I think a giant hint should be the fact that the experience is sponsored by Samsung, featuring the brand new GS7 devices.
  3. You can also make reservations online: https://www.sixflags.com/overtexas/store/santaland-vip It's $24.99/person if you're going solo, or as cheap as $4.99/person all the way up through $19.99/person when you buy the family pass valid for up to 8 people (how expensive per person it is will just depend on how many people you use the pass for).
  4. You could also start out counter-clockwise with Gotham and Goodtimes rides, head up the midway and over to Runaway Mountain, and then continue on to NTG/Titan before finishing off with Shockwave and Superman. This also gives you the opportunity to take a look at the new Justice League building
  5. Indeed. The most memorable ride I've ever had on NTAG was on a warm, late summer day. It was incredibly fast, and considerably more intense than the way that it runs in the winter.
  6. Would anyone happen to know the purpose of the headsets that the attendants wear at Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit? They caught my eye when I was watching Jimmy Fallon and Kevin Hart ride on The Tonight Show. I don't think I've ever seen anything like them before. They can be seen in this video:
  7. As a general rule, the colder it is, the slower the train is going to travel.
  8. I believe that it will be running backwards through its closure for Holiday in the Park.
  9. The front row of each car has shin guards; the back rows do not.
  10. To be fair, Yosemite Sam is over 22 years old... Considering that, I'd say that the park staff has done a very good job of maintaining the ride. Sure, it's very beaten and that's definitely noticeable, but I'm sure it's not the easiest attraction to maintenance.
  11. Hi guys! I'm a fifteen year-old who lives in the DFW area (Six Flags over Texas is my home park ). I love technology, but more specifically, development. I'm deeply involved with iOS-related things. I also love the art of theatre and live entertainment (and the film industry). I'm involved with tech and lighting design, I don't do much acting. I also love good design/aesthetic. Not sure how many coasters I've ridden, probably somewhere around 30. These are the parks I've visited (there might be more that I don't remember): SFoT (x∞) WDW (x1) SeaWorld San Antonio (x1) Six Flags St. Louis (x2) Cedar Point (x1) I LOVE Disney.
