Photo TR: Jinan Zoo and Daming Lake (August 23, 2015)

Jinan Zoo-This is a zoo with amusement rides tucked into one corner of the zoo. The rides area has been undergoing renovation and many old rides have been replaced. Some of the new rides have not yet opened. There is a Fruit Worm kiddie coaster here. It is open. It is like the ones I rode at Haibin Park in Zhuhai and at the Zhengzhou zoo. There is a larger coaster here but it is still in the testing phase. It looks like it will be a fun ride. The two coasters here are #281 and #282 that I have found before ACE or RCDB.

The animal exhibits could be better in someways. There is a 20 RMB charge for the reptile house and the animals there do not have big enough enclosures to even turn around. Sea turtles are in water that is a couple of inches deep. They could provide a better exhibit to house these animals with the money they are charging.

Daming Lake Park-This park is a short bus ride away from the zoo. There is a coaster here, but it is SBNO. The lake is very. nice. Most of the rides, except the coaster, are kept up and are new. Maybe this place will build a new coaster.

I am at the Jinan Zoo. Will they have rides here?

A short bus ride later and I was at Daming Lake.

There is a big coaster here.

It is out of service and has been for a while.

At least I have ridden others like it.
