If this is a ACE Coaster it should be saved, why can't all the members of the group save some money (fund rasing etc) to buy the coaster from the park.

 

Have it re-tracked, give it some NAD Trains, paint it White and put in a park which will look after it.

 

It would be so sad for this Classic Coaster to go to same way as the Wildcat at Idora Park or "Big Dipper" at Chippewa Lake Park.

Well first they would have to save the hundreds of thousands of dollars it would take to do that. Then they would have to negotiate an agreement with a park that was willing to give up their land, rebuild it AS IS, AND front all future maintenance costs.... not many parks would be up to that.
