haux Posted April 6, 2006 Posted April 6, 2006 Hello, fellow TPR members. I'm Alex, aka "Chip" at ThrillNetwork. I'm the lead story editor over there. I applied for a newspaper internship last semester in school, and I was assigned to The Denver Post. I'll be editing at The Post for 10 weeks over the summer. After that, I'll be looking for a full-time job or a career. I'm posting this (with Robb and Elissa's permission) because I need someone to replace me. I need someone who loves theme parks and roller coasters. I need someone who knows journalism or story writing. Someone who can edit would be great, too. This position can also go on a resume. If you want to inquire about the position, send me a PM here, at TN or send me an e-mail at chip@thrillnetwork.com. Here's a picture of Top Thrill Dragster to lure your attention. Dragster with a neat red sunset.
Guest Posted April 7, 2006 Posted April 7, 2006 Like I said before Chip, you deserve all the best. If people are interested for Chip's job email him. If you just want to write without the staff work, then still apply. TN is looking for editors there are a few perks to go with the job. Katie
haux Posted April 10, 2006 Author Posted April 10, 2006 Bump. I'd like to add that if you contact me through e-mail, please tell me your username here. And I forgot to mention that you must be at least 18 years old.
haux Posted April 14, 2006 Author Posted April 14, 2006 To the people who contacted me: Can you contact me again or reply to my e-mails or PMs? I really only have one strong applicant so far because no one else is really following through. Please send me an e-mail or PM so I can continue answering your questions and so my editor in chief and I can have a meeting with you.
