anyone know whats goin' down with space mountain? when is it opening again, what are they doing to it

It's scheduled to reopen on July 15.

 

It's the same layout, although it's all new. New Track, new Queue, new platform, new effects, etc.

 

I for one am glad that they didn't go with the DLRP style ride. The old layout was fun, not too extreme.

 

I think I saw somewhere that the height requirement went from 40" to 44". I wouldn't be surprised to see Big Thunder follow suit.
