The Smurf version had a small drop. It may have originally been right before the clown face, but I was probably around 4 the last time I rode it, so it's tough to remember if it actually was.

I always called it the "Scooby Doo boats", not the "big man" ride. I don't remember the song, but by the time you got to the clown, all I remember is the mechanical sound.

It seems my memory about the clown being flat were mistaken, and you can only barely see the whale. Gulliver's dog evokes memories that Gulliver doesn't. The giraffe looks much cartoonier than I remember, and I also remember the light being very bright in the last portion, but it certainly does not appear to be here.

 

I still wish they hadn't taken it away. I imagine a lot of the parts got sold or cannibalized rather than trashed.
