Hey guys,

Just wanted to know what would be the best hotel (that’s not to costly) to stay at around SFMM? I’m going there for my birthday in April. Me and my cousin are driving from San Jose to there early enough to get there before the park opens then spending the night and driving home the next morning. So if you guys could help me out it’ll be great. Thanks a lot,

Chris

My wife and I have driven down there for her birthday in April for 5 years now and we always stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn right there at Magic Mountain. The rates will go up during spring break, but as long as it isn't that time, the rates aren't too bad. The Best Western on the other side of I-5 isn't that bad either. A couple exits passed Magic Mountain have quite a few hotels and eating establishments. I think there was a Motel 6 or Super 8 in the area. Check on line with those 2 hotel chains to see how close they are to SFMM.

Good luck and have fun!

I've stayed at the Holiday Inn which is pretty much at the bottom of the SFMM hill, on the other side of the freeway. Decent place, and there are about 1000 restaurants in the area, so you'll have plenty of food choices...
