I received the follwoing rumors from someone who works at wdw. Hasy anyone else here heard these and do they sound possible???

 

 

 

RUMOR #1 Lights, Action, Motors will be making its final curtain call soon and will be revamped into another stunt show.(same theme, just additions to the show)

 

RUMOR #2 Indy Stunt Show is running on fumes, so if you haven't seen it yet then you need to in '06.

 

RUMOR #3 Studios well undergo a major, MAJOR rehab. As in half the park may be shut down at one time. The back area of the park so confusing and discombobulated that one of the more prominent rumors is that Muppets, Star Tours, Indy, Backlot Tour will be flattened... ( yeah, you read that right) and rebuilt. While I don't hold that much faith in this rumore Studios did fall in attendance this year and Tower is not the draw it once was.

 

RUMOR #4 Star Tours 2 is practically here.

 

RUMOR #5 Candlelight Processional will change next year as will some other stuff. Erik knows more about this but the man who created CLP was fired from WDI for 'forcefulling touching' a manager. Since the dude"whateverhisnameis' does own the rights to the music Epcot will probably be getting DL's CLP.

 

RUMOR #6 Wonders of Life is kaputz but a new pavilion should be announced in '07, just as clueless as you but it won't be the weather pavilion that has been 935826962

Okay, lets look at these rumors.

 

I doubt Lights Motors Action would change so soon. I enjoy the show just the time between takes it slow and boring. I'd love to see them change the time between set ups.

 

There has been rumors of the Indiana Stunt Show getting removed in favor of the Indy ride like at Disneyland. I've heard that the Indy ride there and our Dinosaur is the same path and such, so I wouldn't expect that to happen. Although, no guest would ever notice. I could see it going soon.

 

I don't think Disney would waste money on tearing down buildings and just rebuilding them. I don't see anything wrong with them. And closing half the park, then they should only charge half admission. It would be a stupid move if you ask me. I do think some changes need to come to MGM, such as Drew Carey and the Backlot Tour.

 

I could see a new Star Tours coming soon. Now that all the SW movies are out, I don't see why not. Then again, there has been rumors on this for awhile. I'd love to see a change.

 

I don't know anything about the Candelight stuff, so no comment.

 

I would expect something to happen to Wonders of Life since its barely ever open. It was open during Spring Break time and a bit in the summer. I wouldn't be surprised if the Timekeeper at Magic Kingdom gets something done to it as well. It was barely open.

Lets see here,

 

I agree with RCTFan for the most part.

 

I do see Indy leaving for probably another Indy themed ride. I doubt many people would even notice that the ride systems are the same as Dinosaur if they brought a DLR Indy type ride over. That ride is very very popular over there is it not? I just hope they dont build another DLP ride that they just cloned in Tokyo.

 

I do think something big needs to be done with that whole half opposite of Tower at MGM. I always wonder when/if Disney will try to appeal to the teens by adding a few more extreme thrill rides like a Sheikra or Hulk/Dragons.. It'd be cool to see that half of the park turned into the rumored "villians" type park if Disney isnt willing to add the 5th gate yet in Orlando.

 

I really doubt that though, or any huge renovation of MGM. Closing half the park would cause such an uproar and overcrowding there that they'd either have to close the entire park down (which wont happen) or rehab the entire park over like.. 10-15 years.

 

As for everything else.. Star Tours 2 I'd believe.

 

Wonders of Life will be going the way or Horizons in a few years (even though Horizons was superior)

 

and the Candlelight stuff has always been HUGE so unless they are adding on to it to make it an even larger event, I dont see any changes coming to that I hope..
