rollerdude Posted November 24, 2005 Posted November 24, 2005 I just watched that video of Expedition GeForce and it looks very fast and very intense. Is it really that fast? The airtime looked incredible. It also looked like there were a lot of straight parts during the course. Did they affect the ride in any way? Now I really want to go ride it. That is flipping amasing.
coasterboi Posted November 25, 2005 Posted November 25, 2005 No there arnt alot of strait parts on the ride but they are banked Downwards altogether i would think there is about 15 secs of airtime and it is about 60-70 mph altogether the best coaster in the world and i dont know many people that have ridden it that dont agree
Meteornotes Posted November 25, 2005 Posted November 25, 2005 Yes, it is that good. I had heard about this coaster for years, and figured there was no way it could live up to the hype. I was wrong, as it was better than I could have imagined. It is likely as close to coaster perfection that we will ever get. dt
rollerdude Posted November 26, 2005 Author Posted November 26, 2005 Thanks guys. I really want to ride it but I can't because I am young, poor, and not in charge. I will be coming close to riding in April. I will be going to Munich and I am trying to convince my mom to take a side trip there.(She is a teacher and is the head of her schools europe trip. She teaches foreign languages.) I know it will be worth it if I can. Thanks again.
Machtin Posted November 28, 2005 Posted November 28, 2005 As much as I know that you would love to ride it, I wouldn't recommend a side trip to Holiday Park from Munich, since that would be a 4 hour's drive and simply too far away as a side trip. The only bigger theme park near Munich is Legoland Germany.
