Angry_Gumball
Yesterday, I recieved my supercard sd (sorry, no opening the mail TR due to frustration) but I'm having trouble setting it up. I'm sure atleast some of you have seen these before. If you haven't, you can download freeware roms/nes roms, load video clips (new excuse to download TPR videos), music, and images. Sounds kinda PSP-like, right? Now, this is where I'm having trouble: See pics below and read comments for a nice visual tour that makes up for my TR Basically, if anyone of you know about these, could you please help me out? Thanks in advance and enjoy my mini depressing TR! *waits a few seconds* Nothing happens.... wtf??? Where's the menu with all my games on it? And you know you like the shot of gameboy in mid-boot...but wait a sec... Stuck it into the game slot. Putting the SD card into the cart. I did my homework (I think) and prepared this card ahead of time. It uses these for storage. Here's the cart in all it's blue glory. Pulling out the Supercard SD Yay! Here's its a box. robbalvey
We have many of these, but not this kind. All I can say is that none of the ones we use worked on the first try. It took a lot of scouring the internet looking at different message boards for it to work right. Good luck and don't give up! --Robb
Teddymonster
I love the Boba Fett background on it. It has so much to do with the product itself. 8)

I'm still going to do more research on more forums as long as they're not lazy like the last 2 I went to. I tried e-mailing the one who I bought it from for some help as well. I'm trying to figure out whether If I'm missing something or if it's defective.
robbalvey
These are the ones we use and I know they are tricky: http://www.emu-zone.net/gba-sp/xg2-turbo.htm For example, I can't run the NES emulator AND a GBA game on the same menu. If I try that, it freezes like yours does. Have you tried just putting ONE thing on it and see if that works? Usually when I can't get something like this to work I try things one small step at a time. --Robb
Angry_Gumball
Still haven't given up just yet. My first step was actually checking out the manufacturer's site, www.supercard.cn, but reading those engrish-filled instructions just made matters worse. My next step was to check their forums where people don't respond to 'urgent' topics espcecially if you're a new member. Everyone's lost in their own little world. So from there, I used my best internet friend, Google and found some tutorials. Now, here's my trouble: First off, I think it all has to do with the firmware. Without the proper stuff, the GBA thinks nothing's in there. (I'm assuming this as this is what it seems to be). I'm finding all these firmware updates but thisis where I"m confused. Do I first get a base or 'vanilla' firmware file and update from there? (Kinda like how NL works) More research to come. If successful, expect to see a pic of Robb dancing on the escalator on GBA! Robb, does your Turbo Xg2 thing really load that slow as far as transferring games on there? And how megabytes does that store? (That's why I got supercard so that size is expandable rather than fixed)
