Loopy Posted October 22, 2005 Posted October 22, 2005 Well we started out in the morning, headed to cedar point. After some minor setbacks, we were on our way. About six and half hours later, we were at Breakers. What a GREAT hotel! My girlfriend and I stayed in the old section while our friends were in the new area. I think the old section is really great. Very nostalgic. Hit the park and crowds were slim to none. Hit a few rides on Magnum, brought back some great memories of working Magnum in 2002. Walked by TTD and we cried a little bit. Pounded my chest and cursed the day I was born..... Wicked twister, Maxair, Millie (tight squeeze and i'm not even an Acer! ). Did some rerides and some haunted stuff, and back to fridays for a cocktail. Next day, park was a lot busier, so we took it easy. Pimped our early admission for a ride on MF. Hit the backside of the park, and I finally got my video camera out. It was overcast and already getting dark. On top of that, I find out that the picture occasionally gets all blotchy. Anyways, I had to dress up the video, and there's not much good footage, but still lots of fun to watch. However.... Next thing I know, we run into Peppy the Musical Clown. This is a very creepy/entertaining attraction of Cedar Point. I highly recommend it to everyone, and am booking my trip for next year. Almost hypnotic, like it is stealing your soul and you don't even know it (see video). http://www.archive.org/details/Pats_Cedar_Point_Movie Please right click on the MPEG1 50 megabyte file, and download it. Otherwise it looks really crummy. Thanks
shesaidboom Posted October 22, 2005 Posted October 22, 2005 Peppy the clown is terrifying    Awesome video, but would've been even more awesome if it was longer.
Loopy Posted October 24, 2005 Author Posted October 24, 2005 A little too short, I agree. Like I said, I didnt get much footage. I go to cedar point once a year, and it took some convincing from my friends to lug the camera around When I am at a park, I like to carry almost nothing. My wallet and maybe some shades. Thats about it. Next year, I am going to put in a little more effort
PhishyBrewer Posted October 24, 2005 Posted October 24, 2005 Great little video. I like the transition from the old to the new. Good stuff!
kymbrah Posted October 24, 2005 Posted October 24, 2005 That was awesome. I am so ready - my plane takes off outta here at 8:30 Friday! Great movie... k
