Hello Texans. I didn't want to double post in both park threads so I just created a new one. If this should be merged into an existing one, please do and accept my apologies.

Anywho..... So I'm planning a trip to the 2 Texas Six Flags parks for Spring Break with my 13 year old son. Figure we'll have 4 days to spend at the parks. We wanna do a water park one day of that (assuming it's warm in late March there). I was initially thinking 1 day at one park, 2 days at another, and 1 day at a water park, but I'm open to suggestions from those that have done both parks. Which park deserves more time of the 2? What are the must rides at each park? Any other suggestions are greatly appreciated too

I think two days at SFOT and a day and a half at SFFT (the half day could be spent at a water park)

I think a half day at ZDT's is justified assuming you're in the San Antonio area on a day when its open. The park is super cheap to get into, and pretty much every there is awesome and worth the price. They appear to be open every weekend in March (it's never ever busy there) and open all week the 12-18th. I don't think their water park is open in March but if you go the last three hours of the day that's $12 per person and totally worth it.

SFOT is definitely a two day park and SFFT's water park is worth about a half day just for Mineshaft and Six Chuter.

Fiesta Texas' water park usually doesn't open until April. I'm assuming Schlitterbahn opens earlier but it may not be open for your visit in March.

The timing of parks also depends on what days, who's out of school, are you getting Flash passes, etc. With Flashpass you only need one day at each SF park and then you can do other fun things as was suggested.

Ah yeah, you're probably right about SFFT's water park.

Either way, try to fit in two days at SFOT, at least a full day at SFFT and a few hours at ZDT's if you're coming on a day when they're open.

Even with a flash pass SFOT is a very big park and staying for two days gives the full experience.

I probably won't be doing Flash Pass. Thanks for advice so far. I'll check on water park opening dates. What's the weather like in late March?

Historically, SFoT for Spring Break is an absolute crowd nightmare. I haven't been during that time for the last few years, but maybe consider flash passes.
