August 23, 2016: Macaojiang Ecological Park (Guigang, Guangxi, China)

 

On August 23, 2016, I went stopped in the city of Guigang to check out Macaojiang Ecological Park. This is a very poor city and it it doesn't have a KFC or McDonald's like other Chinese cities have. There is a nice park near the center of town called Macaojiang Ecological Park. I have known of this park for some time. I knew there were rides here, but I was not sure if it had a coaster or not. I found out during my visit that it does have a very basic jungle mouse coaster. This would be coaster #1023 for me to ride and the 354th coaster I have found before ACE or RCDB. It is a very basic design, but I like this tupe of coaster.

 

Rides here are pretty cheap and it is maybe a 10 minute bus ride from the main train station. It is a nice little stopover if you are traveling within this region of China.

I am on the way home from a longer trip and decided to stop in the very poor city of Guigang to visit a small park here. It is called Macaojiang Ecological Park.

This is a common site in Chinese parks.

There is a bog standard carousel here.

A large Ferris wheel is here.

There is a small mouse coaster here.

I never get tired of these.
