Photo TR: Three City Trip Report (February 13-15, 2016)

I went on a three day tour of Guangxi province and visited three cities and went to five parks. Warning: Out of necessity, the "F word" is featured, but hidden in this TR.

 

February 13, 2016: Zhongshan Park in Guiping

 

This park is located in Guiping county. This is a very poor city and very dirty. The park was also very dirty, but many locals were in the park and enjoying the rides. Gliding Dragon is located here and is a powered coaster. It is like so many others I have ridden. There aren't many rides and the park is not all that big. The people in Guiping are very friendly and it is probably because they do not see many foreigners.

 

February 14, 2016: Expo Garden and Peoples Park in Baise

 

I went to two parks in Baise today. The first is Expo Garden and it has another powered coaster like the one I rode at Zhongshan Park in Guiping. There is also a common jungle mouse here. This park is not on ACE's (the foremost experts on nothing) Census or RCDB (very helpful website when planning my travels). This park is free to enter and is very well kept. The garden areas are very nice. A short taxi ride took me to the next park. Peoples Park is a name given to many parks in China. Peoples Park in Baise has several kiddie rides and a small kiddie coaster that is SBNO. The coaster is the only ride in the park that does not work. This park is also not on RCBD or ACE's Census.

 

As a side note, in English, Baise means "a good place to wash clothes". I am more interested in the French meaning of Baise. You can go look it up for yourselves. Hahahahahahahahaha.

 

February 15, 2016: Nanning Shimen Forest Park and Fengling Childrens Park in Nanning

 

This was my second visit to Nanning. I had visited in 2012 and went to other parks. Shimen Forest Park was my first park of the day. I got to ride another jungle mouse and my third powered Gliding Dragon of the trip. This park is an older park, but is very nice and a bit away from the city center. After Shimen Forest Park, a short cab ride brought me to Fengling Childrens Park where I would ride a Golden Horse spinning coaster and a kiddie coaster called Shuttle. Fengling Childrens Park is a lot like a modern theme park without a gate admission. It is very very nice. Both parks are just one mile from each other.

 

In total, I have now visited 486 parks, ridden 987 coasters and found 329 coasters before ACE or RCDB.

My first park of this trip was Zhongshan Park in Guiping county and I rode this thing.

I am hungry!

The next day, I was in the city of Baise. My first park today is Expo Garden.

Gliding Dragon was fun.

The mouse is very common, but fun.

It is a good thing I love these as they are so common.

I went to Peoples Park and found this thing.

It is SBNO.

I wanted to go through the apple.

On February 15, I started the day at Nanning Shimen Forest Park.

There is a nice lake here.

They have rides here.

Here is one of them. It is the third Gliding Dragon of the trip.

My last park of the trip would be Fengling Children's Park.

The Carousel is nice here.

This is one of the biggest Ferris Wheels I have ever seen.

I have ridden so many of these.

This kiddie coaster would be the last coaster of the trip.
