coasterschile Posted May 17, 2014 Posted May 17, 2014 **(Imagine I'm a normal USA TPR Member, who decided to make a South American Trip, so this would be a Photo TR)** I decided to make a trip to Chile with some friends, that are also members of TPR, I was told there was a nice park that worth the visit so I decided to make the trip. Santiago- Well, it's a beautiful city, lots of culture and the people it's nice. You should visit it if you have a chance. Its similar to Buenos Aires, but, in some kind of way, it's safer (and cleaner), though. The night in Sanhattan (the Chilean version of Manhattan lol) was wonderful and we had a lot of fun! Chile has 2 "highlights" parks, the two are one of the best on South America. One of them was Fantasilandia, the oldest of Latin America since Playcenter closed I think (It was opened in 1978), without doubt, it's a great park, with a great line-up of flat rides, with classic, and new attractions, the day in Fantasilandia was incredible. In the other hand, you got Everland Amusement Park, which is one of the newest parks on South America, this park has a nice layout, the park has some mountains behind, which makes the entire experience more beautiful! the park has 3 credits to offer, each of them are good, quality coasters. Its curious that Fantasilandia and Everland have many flat rides in common. Also, every coaster at Everland has good airtime! I hope you enjoy the Photo TR "Everland" sounds like a asian park lol. The park is located on the outskirts of Santiago This is what you see when you enter the park the park itself its beautiful! It doesnt have theming, but the natural environment does all Shot0059.bmp The Disk'O was closed when we got here Shot0060.bmp Bathrooms next to the Disk'O Shot0061.bmp Cute little Ferris Wheel Shot0063.bmp This Intamin Gyro Drop had some awesome views! Shot0064.bmp This Octopus ride originally operated in Fantasilandia, but it was relocated to Everland Shot0065.bmp As I said, the park has some mountains behind so this makes it extra beautiful! Shot0066.bmp This is one of the two restaurants. This one its located up the hill, right next to the stairs Shot0067.bmp I'm watching some kiddie flats over there! Top Spin credit. It was fun, though A classic Shot0072.bmp Yay! Tagada fun Hey, what am I watching in the backround? Shot0074.bmp This was the first credit we rode, cool little Maurer Söhne launch coaster Good way to start the thrills Shot0076.bmp Here's the other restaurant more bathrooms (behind the trees) Wee! Gift Shop! and a Huss Condor Nice ride! It's curious, we saw one in Fantasilandia too, but that one was a lot more themed than this one Shot0082.bmp There's the Vekoma! This is a coaster for everyone. It's twisty, beautiful, and has some good airtime The coaster its called Blazer, and, as I said, its TWISTY! I loved this coaster, but do you know what I liked more? That B&M beauty in the back Shot0087.bmp Yup, a B&M invert. Its called Odin, and its one of the BEST inverted coasters that I've ever ridden. It has an awesome layout, and its also twisty and has some SWEET airtime!! The drop was pretty cool, I prefer the drops on inverts to be straight down, rather than curved drops The park owners let me take photos of the coaster, in restricted areas, that was pretty awesome too The posiive and negative Gs on this coaster were enough to almost making me to greyout, at least in 2 parts of the ride Shot0090.bmp Gotta love that layout By far, maybe scariest part of the ride (also the first drop is very scary) But this part freaked me out. Imagine to hit a MCBR and then, when you think everything is cool, you go straight down, underground, to go directly to an Immelmann. Its a rush Shot0092.bmp LOOPTY LOOP! Shot0093.bmp Also this part got me. Right after the loop you go through a hill, and then you hit the floor, immediately pass throungh a flat spin, and underground again Shot0094.bmp The Gs on this part almost make me greyout too Shot0095.bmp Last turn Operator says hi! The Disk'O ride opened around 4:00pm, its a popular ride in the park For some strange reason, this restaurant was very busy... ...While this one was empty Well, it was late, and I was getting cold so I put more clothes on. I saw a little kid going out from the Twist 'n' Splash, and his mom was pissed off, poor child, he got in trouble :-/ They started to turn the lights on Shot0100.bmp I took some photos of the park at night, hope you like it: I'm in love with this ride, so much fun! Shot0103.bmp Shot0112.bmp Goodbye Everland Amusement Park! Shot0097.bmp TPR Members say hi!
JonnyRCT3 Posted May 17, 2014 Posted May 17, 2014 Nice park. It has that small, unorthodox international park charm. The invert looks gorgeous, and I absolutely LOVE the flat ride package. Condor, Twist n splash, Top Spin, Drop Tower all excellent!
DoinItForTheFame Posted May 19, 2014 Posted May 19, 2014 Love the park!!! Just a tip for future updates... Name a guest in your park "David Walsh" then before taking a screenshot press "Control U" to get rid of your "info" bars for the shots. Then press "Control U" to get the bars back! (Makes for cleaner photos) anyways... keep up the great work! I can't wait to see more!
coasterschile Posted May 21, 2014 Author Posted May 21, 2014 Here are some photos I took from the top of the catwalk in Odin I loved the view
