foss123 Posted May 12, 2014 Posted May 12, 2014 I'm going to be living in Taiwan (specifically New Taipei City) with a host family for a few weeks this summer, and I wanted to check in with some of the more worldly enthusiasts on this forum to see which parks I absolutely need to go to. I know of Janfusun Fancyworld and Lihpao Land, but are there any other parks I should visit while I'm on the island? More importantly, is Gravity Max worth the two-hour drive? It looks insane but if it's often down, I don't know if I should bother. Thank you in advance!
rctneil Posted May 12, 2014 Posted May 12, 2014 Gravity Max is well worth going to ride. It's perfectly smooth and quite a strange experience when it tilts. Janfusun is a nice little park which has the two B&M's. E-DA park in Kaohsiung is a really nice albeit small park with 3 coasters. One is a Vekoma Big Air, (only one).
Gutterflower Posted May 12, 2014 Posted May 12, 2014 Leofoo is a nice little park quite near to Taipei. It's excellently themed and the quality of rides is pretty good. I managed to do Leofoo and Lihpao land from central Taipei by public transport really easily. And its arguably faster than driving with the traffic and the new bullet trains. Had no problem with any of the coasters being closed either. Gravity Max is well worth the trip for the pure terror.
foss123 Posted May 12, 2014 Author Posted May 12, 2014 Awesome, glad to know Gravity Max isn't just cool to look at. I can't wait to experience it!
