Technically yes, but it has never been built in such a way. All sidewinders I know of are followed by a helix or curve, never a drop.

Well, It would just be followed by any coaster element afterwards. It is similar to a sidewinder. But not the same.

I fail to see the difference then. I sidewinder afterall is literally just half a cobra roll. The best example I can think of are the rides like Poltergeist at SFFT. That inversion seems really similar to waht you are describing.
