GrapesLie Posted February 11, 2014 Posted February 11, 2014 So I'm planning my first trip to Orlando and I plan to spend a entire week and focus just on the Disney Parks. I'm hoping that is enough time to really do the parks justice. Our current Planned dates are November 10th - 17th. I was wondering how busy you think the parks might be or if you have a suggestion for better dates? (Also where to stay and eat. What not to miss, ect.) I know VERY little about it so any info can help. The only other park I plan to hit while in Orlando Is Fun spot. Anyway, thank you so much!
yankeeman311 Posted February 12, 2014 Posted February 12, 2014 (edited) Honestly a week should be plenty of time especially around those dates. Disney doesn't get too crowded in early November so you should be fine. Are you planning on park hopping or only going to 1 park a day? Either way you probably only need 2 days at Magic Kingdom, 1 at Epcot unless you want to really stroll in World Showcase and maybe 1 day at Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom if that. I suggest planning 1 day in the middle of the week to relax because trust me, Disney gets tiring. As for where to stay that entirely depends on your budget because there's a wide difference in prices. If you have the money, go for Grand Floridian. Best hotel Disney has imo. A couple of restaurants I'll suggest are Be our Guest in Magic Kingdom and 50s Cafe in Hollywood Studios. Really enjoyed both of those last time I was there. I'll be more than happy to answer any other questions. Edited February 12, 2014 by yankeeman311
SharkTums Posted February 12, 2014 Posted February 12, 2014 Food and Wine will be going on which means you'll need more than one day at Epcot. That could also possibly be Jersey Week, but it's still better than most of the other holiday times.
GrapesLie Posted February 12, 2014 Author Posted February 12, 2014 ^ Hmmm Food and wine festival get pretty crazy doesn't it? I really want to go the slowest point possible. I may consider moving my dates I'm fairly flexible there luckily. Any Suggestions?
SharkTums Posted February 12, 2014 Posted February 12, 2014 ^Um, go during Food and Wine. I would never suggest another time.
cfc Posted February 12, 2014 Posted February 12, 2014 ^Can't agree with this enough. Food & Wine is the best time to visit Epcot.
