toofpikk Posted May 15, 2013 Posted May 15, 2013 Hey! I'm fairly new here, but I do have some forum knowledge, and love rollercoasters. What I need to ask though, is this: Hey robb, Whether or not you see this, I dont know, but I got an itching question. Im going to america for the first time in 2014, and going all the way along the west coast from above Ney york, and then curving in to sandusky, where we go back home. I was just gonna ask what theme parks would you recommend me visitng, baring in mind i will only be there for 3 weeks and will only have time to visit 3-5 theme parks. Thanks! I'd apprectiate it if people would like this so robb can see. ^__^ Robb politely replied saying that he'd prefer me to ask his forum, so here I am! I could really use some good parks to go to. I only have Cedar point lined up. I looked on the web, but I wanna know what the people think. Remember I will only be able to visit a handful. Thanks!
SharkTums Posted May 15, 2013 Posted May 15, 2013 ^You should look at a map. Your description of where you're going is kind of funny. Are you flying or driving when you're 'curving' over to Sandusky from California?!!?
toofpikk Posted May 15, 2013 Author Posted May 15, 2013 Sorry for the bad explanation. I guess it was kind of brief. My geography isnt good at all, I think we're doing more of an 's'. For the most part, we plan on hiring a car and driving. However we will probably fly from the top of New York to Sandusky. My paint skills at work. Yes, but the plan is to arrive in Boston, and then see some sites, then drive to Kentucky, where We will spend at least a week. After, we will drive through Pennsylvania and go to New York, before flying back don to Ohio to visit the finger lakes and the great lakes. Hopefully this may help you help me, haha.
beatle11 Posted May 16, 2013 Posted May 16, 2013 Your actually looking at the east coast here, not the west. As far as park suggestions. Cedar Point and Six Flags Great Adventure are the two big coaster parks in the area where your visiting. I also highly recommend Knoebels in Pennsylvania. Other parks you could consider and Kings Dominion, Busch Gardens Williamsburg and Hersheypark. You could also head to Coney Island when your in New York. Hope this helps.
