cedar point in AUG - am I crazy ???

According Cedar Point, the last two weeks of August is considered their off peak season. (aug 19th - on) I heard in the peak of summer lines could get as long as 3 - 4 hours. Does this mean that during the summer of off season the lines will be down to about a 2 hour wait ? Not exactily what I would consider off season wait times. Would it be worth going in August or should I just wait until Next May? I would be going mid week Tues, Wed, and Thursday. Any advice you guys could share would be great. Thanks

Lines for the big rides in the 'offseason' can get 1+hour, but most rides won't be.
