Error Loading Photos

Did a search to see if I'm doing something wrong.

 

I'm trying to upload photos in jpeg format less than 100kb size and I get the error: "The image file you tried to attach is invalid." I was trying to upload to a trip board, but I also tested on the regular boards and got the same error. Also checked the dimensions of the photos were okay as well (all less than 400 * 300).

 

It's been a while since I've uploaded a photo.

which browser are you using and what's the file name?

I'm using Windows internet explorer and the file names are for example: "pic_1_197.jpg" size: 87 kb, dimensions: 376 * 282.

can you upload other files or larger images?

I'll try a few different things and see what happens. I'll test with some photos I've uploaded successfully before. I know another guy on the 2013 mid-west trip board was having the same problem.

 

Edit: I took a photo that I had uploaded previously and tried adding it in the following ways: in a new thread on a trip board, as a new post on an existing thread on the trip board, and I did the same two tests in an open forum as well. In all cases I got the same result.

 

No idea, it must be me.

Based on those results and how I just attached an image to this post...

i'm guessing it's on your end.

 

you could try another browser and see if it helps.

Thanks Hanno, I tested on my PC at work and it looks like it's the PC, your photo worked. Both have windows internet explorer, so I'll see if it's a problem with the version on my PC.
