Hi

I am planning a trip to the USA (from Australia) and hitting some theme parks is a must.

I will be in New York for a bit over a week 2 May - 11th May and i was planning to hire a car for 2-3 days and drive to Hershey Park and Six Flags Great Ad

my question's are you able to see these parks in a day each or would i need longer, i am mainly going for the roller coasters and it will be just a Friend and myself, so we wont really be interested in kids rides etc. Also would you have any recommendation of accommodation, other thing to do while in the area or a better trip idea ?

Thanks

That time of year should be fine for hitting up those parks one day each. If it's crowded, both parks offer a skip the line type system that you can purchase to get even more rides in!

There really isn't a ton of places right next to Great Adventure. I remember there being a Days Inn about 10-15 minutes from the park. From what I remember it was pretty decent, but the last time I stayed there was in 2005.

Also if you wanted to meet up, A day trip to Great Adventure is always possible for me. I can help you navigate the park so theres no need for flash pass! =]
