KoasterDan Posted January 5, 2013 Posted January 5, 2013 This has kind of been bugging me for a few years now. Why is Six Flags so lazy with their coaster construction? Maybe lazy isn't the right wording, but they move at a much slower pace than say, Cedar Point is with Gatekeeper. I see tons of construction on coasters, and other rides from other chains and companies, but Six Flags always seems to be way behind. For example, Full Throttle, has just some footers if I recall correctly. Am I the only one who feels this way?
Intaman Posted January 5, 2013 Posted January 5, 2013 X-Flight was ready before Memorial Day. Additionally, Iron Rattler construction is apparently moving along. I also think the Apocalypse (formerly Iron Wolf) opening was on-schedule. Given projected costs/budget, SF would certainly have created a schedule with construction, etc.
cfc Posted January 5, 2013 Posted January 5, 2013 Yes, I see very little point to this thread. We already have plenty of threads discussing Six Flags and its parks. In addition, the pace of construction most likely has nothing to do with "laziness," but more to do with budgets and schedules and building materials. Thread locked.
