gisco Posted April 26, 2012 Posted April 26, 2012 That is not an easy park to get to. At least there is more to do there now.
sixflagsguy5 Posted May 3, 2012 Posted May 3, 2012 They were working on this when I was up there in 2010. The park is really unique. There's a lake/ lagoon in the middle and rides around that. The area is over run with trees and located right by the body of water that separates Maine from Nova Scotia. From the top of one of the rides the beach looked like it was loaded with mud and large boulders. It's really reasonably priced and there was barely anyone there when we went in the middle of the summer. I've never been out of North America, but from the videos I've seen, the park (mostly the wood coaster) reminded me of Oakwood. From what I remember, they were building a zipline over the park's main lagoon. They had signs advertising the ziplines all over the park. Hopefully this addition will help them get better attendance. The park seemed kind of bare when I went, even for a more family oriented park. I'd definitely check it out if you're in the mood to spend more time driving than riding rides and doing trip activities. I also think the ferries going to the port by the park had been cancelled or were at really bad times.
