T-BONDIcoasterkid Posted October 2, 2011 Author Posted October 2, 2011 What we are saying is that there are other elements on a hyper coaster besides the airtime hills.... Look at I215 for example... As well as several direction changes throughout the hills, the ride has a large turnaround as well as a helix. I'm just saying you should have a little more variety in the layout...besides the airtime hills. I'd also suggest, if you haven't already, using the Extended track for this, as you get a few more pieces to shape hills differently. You mean I232?
coasterman37 Posted October 2, 2011 Posted October 2, 2011 What was so funny? Also for the B&M, add a lake or river or something. Trees at least. There is absolutly nothing over there. Most B&M hypers like Nitro, Apollo's Chariot, and Diamondback have trees. The whole look of the ride is boring.

A.J. Posted October 2, 2011 Posted October 2, 2011 You should really consider changing that logo image or removing it from your last update post. It seared my eyes the first time I saw it.
coasterman37 Posted October 2, 2011 Posted October 2, 2011 Saying I215 isn't so funny. And if you put an update with the trees and stuff, it would make it alot better. And as AJ said, remove the sign.
T-BONDIcoasterkid Posted October 2, 2011 Author Posted October 2, 2011 ^Go troll somewhere else, he said I215 instead of 232. And I did remove the sign, so please troll elsewhere.
T-BONDIcoasterkid Posted October 2, 2011 Author Posted October 2, 2011 Ok, I reprofiled Supernova and added a helix type maneuver, but the main announcement is the new coaster called Apocalypse: Run From Doom! An Intamin accelerator that goes over a 230 foot top hat, making it Bondi Gardens tallest ride! It has an end of the world theme, which is clearly depicted in its theming elements of the ride! You asked for a themed ride and a reprofile on Supernova, so here you go! Apocalypse stats: height: 230' Speed: 80 mph Trains: 3 Cars per train: 4 Rows per car: 2 Seats per row: 2 Type: Steel Model: Accelerator Manufacturer: Intamin AG Oh yea we added a sweet Intamin track entrance type thingy majig. new turn Apocalypse: Run From Doom End of this update.
A.J. Posted October 2, 2011 Posted October 2, 2011 And I did remove the sign, Thanks. It's not that it was "bad", the color combination (255Red on 255Blue) was just polarizing. Try some other colors and it might look better. I'd suggest a darker blue with white text. The park is looking better with every update though. Keep it up.
Schotcher Posted October 2, 2011 Posted October 2, 2011 I really like RoD, I do, but IMO, make the launch section a bit further to avoid paths/obstacles, and maybe make most of the ride closer to the ground. After the dive-loop snake thing, it looks awkward because it's so far above the ground. Just my 2 cents. But other than that great layout.
T-BONDIcoasterkid Posted October 2, 2011 Author Posted October 2, 2011 ^ Yea I know what you're saying, I wanted it to have a high flying feel though.
coasterman37 Posted October 2, 2011 Posted October 2, 2011 Supernova is better. Now it needs trees and stuff.
T-BONDIcoasterkid Posted October 2, 2011 Author Posted October 2, 2011 If you hadn't noticed I added a ton more trees to Supernova's area.
Kraken & Manta Posted October 2, 2011 Posted October 2, 2011 Getting better! The helix makes Supernova look better, and the new coaster is nice! Two suggestions from me would be to add a bit more terrain to the park (ie: sand, dirt, etc) rather than mostly grass, like what you did with the new coaster's ash. And the second thing, which is more opinionated, but it may look better if Apocalypse had darker supports as it has a warish theme. Not sure though.
coasterman37 Posted October 3, 2011 Posted October 3, 2011 If you hadn't noticed I added a ton more trees to Supernova's area. What I meant was between the ride. But it looks better. Don't get so pissed off.
T-BONDIcoasterkid Posted October 3, 2011 Author Posted October 3, 2011 Um, I wasn't mad I was pointing out that I had done what you had asked me to do. So dont tell me to "not get pissed off", because I wasnt.
A.J. Posted October 3, 2011 Posted October 3, 2011 All right, enough of this donkey crap, or I'm locking this topic. T-BONDI, if you don't like or offended by what someone has to say about your park, simply ignore it. Plain and simple. Coasterman, quit being rude. Give helpful suggestions, not flat-out criticisms. Plain and simple.
coasterman37 Posted October 3, 2011 Posted October 3, 2011 I wasn't trying to be rude. Sorry if I offended anyone. I like Apocalypse though. It has a cool slogan.
T-BONDIcoasterkid Posted October 3, 2011 Author Posted October 3, 2011 Sorry AJ, there was just some confusion going on. A family coaster and/or ride is my next priority since we dont have any "family" rides at the moment.
coasterman37 Posted October 3, 2011 Posted October 3, 2011 (edited) That would be cool. Maybe a Zamperla Disko would fit in well. Also, I think the color scheme for Apocalypse is a little bright for the theme. Maybe a black and white scheme will look good. But that's just my opinion. Edited October 4, 2011 by A.J.
T-BONDIcoasterkid Posted October 3, 2011 Author Posted October 3, 2011 ^That is true, and it is scheduled for a repaint in 2 RCT3 years.
SoCalCoasters Posted October 4, 2011 Posted October 4, 2011 I suggested this earlier but I'll sugest it again. Before you move on to new stuff, why not try and maximize the space you are already using? Add more detail and theming to your rides.
coasterman37 Posted October 4, 2011 Posted October 4, 2011 ^That is true, and it is scheduled for a repaint in 2 RCT3 years. Ok, that will make the ride look alot better.
T-BONDIcoasterkid Posted October 5, 2011 Author Posted October 5, 2011 Ok, heres a miniature update! I'm making this update short because I am still working on some of the kiddie section (keep that in mind). In this update: Kiddie Section: Coaster & Flat (more soon) Apocalypse: Run From Doom repaint! (Brown, black, and blue) before the repaint there was a overview I wanted to show. Apocalypse: Run From Doom's new color scheme! The new kiddie section of the park, which is still being edited (more buildings and kid friendly flats will be added)
Schotcher Posted October 5, 2011 Posted October 5, 2011 Kidding coaster: Put low friction on, make the ride really long, really compact, and make the train very very long. (Only use one train!)
coasterman37 Posted October 5, 2011 Posted October 5, 2011 You might want to make that lake under the kids coaster a little smoother. Other than that it looks good.
