So a while ago I reinstalled RCT3 on my laptop. It was working great for a while, but recently my graphics card started to go. I decided to try RCT2 due to the fact that it is no where near as graphic intensive. I still have some issues with the computer, but it works a bit longer on RCT2. So due to the fact that I haven't played RCT2 in about 4-5years, I don't have much in the way of custom scenery, and I have to desire to nitpick through the endless list of CSO's that have come with parks that I have recently downloaded. I decided to use one of the stock scenarios with the help of 8cars for money and date management I have built this park. It is no hack / CSO's. Just what came in the premade scenario.

Chinook Lake is the centerpiece for this single circle 4 area park.

Around the entrance is Sonic. An Arrow 7 looper with a variation at the beginning. It started out as a simple double loop double cork, but was then expanded.

Behind the drop of Sonic is Stratosphere, an Intamin Giga coaster.

The final ride in the entrance area is a Wooden coaster called Tomcat

There are also many flat rides for both the family and the thrill seeker. But I will leave that for a later update. Please leave comments. As always it is still a WIP, but I wanted to get some feedback as most of the areas are filled in and it is to the point of making it look nicer. I would eventually like to release the park if there is enough interest.

NICE Intamin, good layout design, pretty realistic, makes good use of the surronding area. I like it a lot. On the first turn after the drop, add some shrubbery on the ground. Maybe get rid of some of those trees to expose the ride to guests, you could make a good observation point of the ride. Good Arrow, if has some great moments (the pretzel roll, is it called?, that goes underground). Be careful with that building that goes up the lift hill. Put some windows or something to look out of.

Good job, looking forward to more updates.

Western Area Overview

The first thing to notice is a lot has changed from my initial post. The GIB is gone. Sad to say it went the way of the real ones. High intensity, and high maintenance means it doesn't stay. But instead we have a sit down boomerang called Copperhead and a log flume called Snake River Falls.

Finally there is an Arrow Suspended Swinging coaster called Loggar's Run. Themed to a fort, you pass through the walls until you make it to the barracks with the station. The ride features two lift hills and several tunnels.

As we enter the area we have a sit down restaurant called Lady Jane's House of Ill Repute. Across from that there is a twisted wooden coaster called Buzzsaw.

Moving along the path we have an S&S Combo Tower called Mine Shaft. On one side you freefall, on the other you are launched.

As we reach the end of the area there are two more coasters. The first is a family coaster called Crawler (name subject to change. originally had the ladybug cars, but was recently switched to the log cars to fit the theme better.)

Finally we have Snakebite. A variation on the Schwartzkopf Shuttle loop / Premier Shuttle Coaster. You are launched through several keyhole tunnels, around a turn, and then into a loop.

Comments and suggestions are always welcome. I try to take everything into account when updating.

My interest in the park is winding down so I will finish with a final update for the last two areas. But first some changes.

I've redone Tomcat again. Back to gray supports, and I changed the end of the ride this time. Rather than the low to ground finish I put in a helix.

Tomcat and Medusa

Now on to the first of the two new areas.

SCR25.BMP

Dark Overview

First up is Medusa, a B&M inverted coaster.

Medusa 2

Next we have Raven, a B&M Sitdown launch coaster.

A shot of Stratosphere's drop interaction with the area. There is a seating / observation area along with a food court.

The last ride in the area is in a location that I have rebuilt what seems like seven or eight times. For now it contains Vulture, a twisted wooden coaster.

And just to make this REALLY long. The final area of the park. By far the largest area of the park, it features four Coasters, a Drop Tower, a large boat splash ride, a go kart track, a large open air food court, and many more exciting flat rides.

The First coaster5 is Wildcat, the park's Jr wooden coaster.

Next up is a Schwarzkopf Speed / Jumbo Jet coaster called Hurricane. Thanks goes out to QueerRudie for helping me improve both the layout and the station.

Next up is Blue Angel, by far the crowd's favorite coaster. A B&M Standup, it features a Loop and two Corkscrews.

That's it for this park. If anyone wants, I can upload it to the exchange and put up a link. Thanks for those that have commented and given suggestions. I really appreciate it as I realize I am rather mediocre at building in RCT2. The only way to get better is for people to give constructive criticism. Thanks again.
