Sardonis Posted May 13, 2011 Posted May 13, 2011 Hi, guys! First of all, great forum! Keep up the good work! My name is Kristof and I live in Belgium! Next week, I'm coming to the USA for the first time in my life and as a coasterlover, I will be visiting SFMM. Now, I'm visiting SFMM on Sunday, the 29th of May (I know, Memorial Day weekend) , so I was planning to take me (and my 2 friends) a Flash Pass. I've never work with such a fastpass-system before, so I was wondering if anybody could explain me the difference between REGULAR, GOLD and PLATINUM? Because I can't tell really from the site. Also, could you give some tips for visiting the park or an "attackplan"? We will be there when the park opens, is it then good to go to X2 first and afterwards the rest or going first to the back of the park and in the afternoon X2? Thanks in advance!
Hhappy Posted May 13, 2011 Posted May 13, 2011 from the Six Flags site: http://www.sixflags.com/magicMountain/tickets/flashpass.aspx A Regular The Flash Pass allows you to enjoy your day at Six Flags by avoiding long lines at your favorite rides. With a Regular The Flash Pass, you wait as long as everyone else is waiting, but not in line—you can enjoy your free time elsewhere in the park. With a Gold The Flash Pass, you enjoy a significant reduction in wait time allowing you to ride more rides with less wait. Also with a Gold The Flash Pass you will be able to reserve a seat on X2. (X2 requires an additional fee per person and has limited availability). Platinum The Flash Pass allows you to enjoy riding our rides with the least amount of waiting! Consecutive Riding allows you to WAIT ONCE and RIDE TWICE. Quantities are limited.
robbalvey Posted May 16, 2011 Posted May 16, 2011 As you are coming in from Belgium, and you'll be there on what could be a very busy Sunday - I would actually spring for the Platinum pass. Yes, it's expensive, but it will be VERY worth it! You'll get to ride a LOT, and the lines should be quite busy on that Sunday. --Robb
