Luxas Surta Posted March 21, 2011 Posted March 21, 2011 OK, I have recently wanted to ride an alpine slide/coaster for the past year. I live in Texas and since Google search doesn't know what an alpine slide is. Can you help me see if there is one some where in Texas? I am desperately trying to find one that I could reach and ride without spending a fortune EDIT: I would also to use this thread for peoples experiences on these wonderful rides and such.

Do you want to find an alpine slide or a alpine/mountain coaster? They are two different rides. An alpine slide is a sled with wheels that runs in a through. An alpine/mountain coaster runs on rails. We also already have an Alpine Coaster discussion thread if that is what you are looking for:www.themeparkreview.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=613062#p613062 Edited March 21, 2011 by larrygator
Luxas Surta Posted March 21, 2011 Author Posted March 21, 2011 OH my god I feel like an Idiot Well I would take either ride to tell the truth.
mtbiker99 Posted March 21, 2011 Posted March 21, 2011 Wikipedia has a listing: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alpine_slide They are mostly located at ski resorts. The nearest one to Texas is Colorado
