My custom Intamin Mega-Lite Mega Loop by GrabowskiEnterprises An Intamin Impulse Twister Coaster A custom B&M Invert: Avalanche! inspired by Alpengeist at BGW A recreation of Vortex (Carowinds), a B&M stand-up coaster
A.J. Posted November 17, 2010 Posted November 17, 2010 Okay. First off - use the F10 button to take in-game screenshots. Read the RCT3 user guide. READ IT. The widths of pathways are inconsistent. Think - what would guests think if they had this wide open space, and they had to cram themselves in a narrow space to get to the entrance of their favorite coaster? Like I said to GE - take the time and make your park more detailed. It will look better, and you will feel more accomplished.
T-BONDIcoasterkid Posted November 17, 2010 Author Posted November 17, 2010 It is 3 main paths and branches off to the rides...just so you know. Thanks for the advice, and my pc crashes when you take on-screen shots. So I took them on my camera. Thanks again.
GrabowskiEnterprises Posted November 17, 2010 Posted November 17, 2010 Very nice, but try to add more scenery to it like my parks, but other than that I like the custom coasters you made. Oh and you need stations and buildings, cuz the coasters need some realism. And finally add some more flat rides.
SoCalCoasters Posted November 17, 2010 Posted November 17, 2010 First off: Change the name. Why? My newest park in RCT3 was started a mere day before your park. Bell Gardens, Bond Gardens. There is a three letter difference, no way is that accidental. The Mega-Lite: Extend It. Too small, and the layout is pretty bland. Take a look at some of the in-game Intamins for inspiration. The Impulse: It needs a station, Currently, it looks very tacky and out of place without one. Corkscrew: No Complaints here. Invert: Add texture to the sides of the trench, or turn it into a tunnel. Standup: Needs a station. I may sound harsh, but these are important tips to make better RCT3 parks. Overall, add foliage, and flat rides. Please, change the name.
T-BONDIcoasterkid Posted November 17, 2010 Author Posted November 17, 2010 I did not even see your park so I did not copy it. Grabowski I don't know how to make stations, and the Mega-Lite was purposly small (because I made my first Blueprint on it with capacity, speed, etc.). Remember guys this is my first post. The reason for the name is that people call me T-BOND as in T-BONDIcoasterkid (my username). Thank you guys for the tips I will try to add more. THERE WILL BE AN UPDATE SOON! Thanks again.
mcjaco Posted November 17, 2010 Posted November 17, 2010 (edited) Since there seems to be confusion, and I've seen an influx of Etiquette No-No's over the past two weeks. Seriously guys, I've had to edit almost every new thread in the past two weeks. As we've seen an influx of new members here in the Game, Models, and Randomness Forum, I decided to create a general list of guidelines to keep the Forum better organized, and not filled with pointless threads. So here we go: 1.) As per the posting rules, proper capitalization and grammar is required. For example, use of the capital "I" is easy, as it only requires the use of the Shift key + I. Text talk will lead to a 24 Hour ban. 2.) When creating a thread for your park or rides, preface it with the proper game in which it was created in the Subject line. For example, [RCT3] - Wally World. RCT = Rollercoaster Tycoon RCT2 = Rollercoaster Tycoon 2 RCT3 = Rollercoaster Tycoon 3 NL = No Limits SM = Scream Machines, etc. The reasoning behind this is for searches. If you search "[NL]", all of the properly named No Limits threads will be listed. It will make finding threads related to each game easier to find. Get it? Good! 3.) Do NOT start a thread for a park if you only have one screenshot, just a Photoshoped logo, or screencaps taken from a digital camera. We want quality posts and threads. Get your park, or track, started and moving along before you need to make an announcement. A video of your park will suffice, as those take time to put together and edit. 4.) Be descriptive. The better your thread is, the more comments you'll receive on it. Well thought out threads, and good pictures always get you more views, rather than something slapped together haphazardly. 5.) Don't post links to your website. It's against the TOS or TPR. We've seen a bunch of new users, or infrequent posters, linking to their site. This coincides with Rule 3 - A thread without pictures, or very little description and/or just a link will be pulled. 6.) If you have nothing nice to say, don't say it. Attitude here, will not be accepted. There are constructive ways of stating you opinion. "It sucks" will not be tolerated. These are all games being discussed, and everyone plays for different reasons. Belittling other members will get you a 24 Hour Ban immediately. 7.) If you post a thread that fulfills one of the Sticky Threads, ie: "I can't install RCT3 custom scenery." Please check the stickies. The mods will have most likely merged it into the proper sticky. 8.) Have fun! The mods are here to keep things moving along. Not cause anyone grief. We enjoy looking at your creations as much as everyone else. Thanks everyone! ~ Matt So, sorry. This is NOT TPR QUALITY, and will remained locked. Edited November 17, 2010 by mcjaco
mcjaco Posted November 17, 2010 Posted November 17, 2010 Just an FYI: There will be no more PMs sent to me over this. This is NOT a quality thread. The content might be (I can't tell the pictures aren't even in focus), but the way it's presented is not. THAT IS THE REASON IT'S LOCKED. Any argument over how other threads of low quality parks is not the issue. There are park builders of many different levels here. Although their parks may not be "New Element" level, they are at least presented in quality way (screen captures, proper subject heading, etc.). This thread failed to follow multiple rules. Which means LOCKED. Further discussion will lead to a 48 hour time out from TPR. Trust me, if Robb were here, he'd have already banned two or three of you. I am being nice.
