dubaidave Posted September 2, 2010 Posted September 2, 2010 Hi, Sorry this is a little late, but does anybody know how busy Chessington will be tomorrow. I am visiting tomorrow, and if anyone has any information that would be fantastic. Thanks Dubaidave PS you can guarantee I'll be taking lots of photos and will, of course, be posting the trip report up here shortly.
jason10 Posted September 2, 2010 Posted September 2, 2010 I can't really imagine it being too busy tomorrow in all honesty. Most, if not all schools have gone back (at least mine has) so it should keep the queues at bay. I'm not really an expert on Chessington and queues, but how I see it, you should not be waiting very long at all!
dubaidave Posted September 2, 2010 Author Posted September 2, 2010 Thanks for That, Sound good. Adventure island was fairly quiet today but alton was really busy yesterday Dubaidave
jason10 Posted September 2, 2010 Posted September 2, 2010 Yeah, not surprised! Today was the first day back so I imagine everyone was trying to get their last minute rides at Alton!
themeparkman25 Posted September 3, 2010 Posted September 3, 2010 But in the odd case it is busy, I would get to Dragon's Fury first, as it can get a pretty big line rather quickly. From there, I would head down to Vampire and knock that out. Outside of those two, there shouldn't be too long of a line. Enjoy, Chessington is one of my favorites.
dubaidave Posted September 3, 2010 Author Posted September 3, 2010 Thanks for the help guys Dubaidave
dubaidave Posted September 3, 2010 Author Posted September 3, 2010 Update live from Chessington. Its really quite busy. Forty mins for tomb blaster and vampire. Dragons was forty when we arrived and bubbleworks is quing out the door. Loving the pizza buffet and the very friendly staff. Dubaidave
dubaidave Posted September 4, 2010 Author Posted September 4, 2010 The big surprise for me was that theyve moved the entrance. So now you enter and exit by dragons Fury so its always a long line, and no sign of a single rider que. Dubaidave
BudtheWeiser Posted September 5, 2010 Posted September 5, 2010 The actually have 2 entrances Dave the dragons fury one is more popular as they quite often let you on the ride before the rest of the park is open avoiding the queues.
dubaidave Posted September 5, 2010 Author Posted September 5, 2010 Sadly, we didnt get there til 1030 so missed that. On another note I was in Brighton Yesterday. Dubaidave
BudtheWeiser Posted September 5, 2010 Posted September 5, 2010 Haha only got back there myself yesterday been up to great yarmouth to do the pleasure beach and Pleasurewood hills
