I lived in Taiwan for over a year in between 1999-2000. I just wanted to share a couple of pictures with you.

This is my only photograph of LeeFoo Village near Longtan. You can kinda make out the drop tower there by the little black line sticking out of the horizon 1/3 over from the left.

Most people get around in Taiwan on mopeds. Be very careful while you are crossing the street. Sorry for the quality.

There are many abandoned buildings in Taoyuan County (people ran out of money). This one was going to be a Men's "Entertainment" center.

This is a picture from my apartment while in Taipei, the building on the far right is a children's musuem about the history of transportation. (World of Motion anyone?)
